We decided that it was time for our 3-year-old to move up to a twin bed, and we knew we wanted something with storage, but that was all we knew. We looked at SO many beds before we decided on this one, and I'm so glad this is the one we picked! The velvet it suuuper soft, and it's such a pretty mauve color - cute and girly, but still a calm color so it's not overstimulating at bedtime. My husband said that the instructions were missing, but he was able to assemble it himself pretty quickly anyway. It's very solid and can easily support me, my husband, our 3-year-old, and our 9-month-old without creaking or bending. The drawers are nice, but a couple of things to note: 1) they can be annoying to keep straight if they're on a smooth floor, and 2) they're really hard to pull out/push in if someone is sitting/laying near the edge of the bed. Neither of these are big deals at all, but they're worth thinking about if you plan to use the drawers a lot. We put a rug under the bed, which helped a TON with keeping them straight, and we mostly use it to store toys that she rarely plays with, so we aren't typically trying to open them while someone's on the bed. I really love the height of the sides - tall enough to keep toys and plushies on her bed without being too tall. The frame itself is a nice, standard height, and the drawers are quite deep. Honestly, I think it's a great deal for the money, and I think we'll be using this frame for a verrry long time. ... show more

    • Beautiful Bed-Annoying Drawers

The ONLY thing I dont like about this bed is that the drawers just slide all over the place. There is no rail for them, they just sit under the bed and are easily pushed back and get all crooked and messed up. But otherwise, assembly was not that hard, material is soft and cute, exactly as pictures. Love it! ... show more
