600 lbs total between both bunks i would keep your total at 300 per bunk. Its well made but i would not put 600 lbs per bunk! I am upset because i wanted bunks for adults to have the option and this is not the case!! I will say it is well built but the weight rating in my experience in fabrication is dangerously wrong.

Got this a few months ago and my husband and I actually needed to use the bottom bed for about a week while we waited for our replacement to arrive. I’m about 190 after just having a baby and my husband is about 180 and despite having nearly 400 lbs on the bottom bunk it made no noise, held together great, as long as there’s a good mattress on there it’s super comfy, we got great sleep and it was very easy to put together with 2 people (because it is large and an awkward shape for only one person to put together)
