The coffee comes out really hot and stays hot. The taste is great. The only complaint is there is no on off and it’s supposed to turn off automatically in like 2 hours but unfortunately it does not so you have to unplug it. But not a big deal. There is no clock or timer. The only other thing the single brew basket is small. Their single brew only coffee maker has a bigger carafe. I love how this product looks, which only lends itself to my disappointment more. I am lucky in some regard my product broke after just 3 uses so I will be able to return it. The single-serve button just entirely stopped working, I've checked instructions and properly operated it through 1 cleaning and 2 brews before this button ceased working. Other reviews claiming poor taste are also correct, watery and bitter coffee maker. No "mmmm"" factor on your first sip if you are a discerning coffee drinker who likes a robust full body flavor. Compact for the most part. Brews fairly quick . Kind of loud for how small it is . If you want a plain jane nothing special this is it. Personally i think its a bit over priced for what it is but in general it does do both cup and pot which is great. I have had several coffee makers and needed both carafe style for entertaining and single coffee pod style when it is only me for one cup. I have never been truly satisfied with the coffee makers I have had. I purchased this one to give it a try, but with some skepticism. I am SO PLEASED! It is so much simpler to use and clean, less counter space required, attractive appearance, combined carafe and single serving from pods with simple switching from one mode to the other and basically solves all my previous coffee maker complaints. The media could not be loaded. I just received my new coffee maker and set it up. It is a beautiful design. I wanted something simple that could brew single cups as well as full pots. This does both and has a reservoir so I am not adding water every morning for my quick cup. However, when the machine is done brewing it makes a mechanical noise before shutting off that a standard coffee maker does not make. The single cup brew 8oz does not brew a dark coffee. As a person who drink dark black coffee this is palatable but not the best. I will update in a few days after using it more. Update: the coffee brewed in the carafe is darker as it brews slower. Which defeats the purpose of my purchase, to have a quick to go cup. The coffee maker is still beautifully designed. I am attaching a video of the noise it makes brewing. It makes this noise with the single serve option as well. ... show more

Coming back two months later after dealing with their HORRIBLE customer service. After requiring pictures, videos, receipts proving that this coffee maker is near useless and takes 20 minutes daily to make a bad cup of coffee and a huge mess, they took two weeks and two reminder emails to get them to respond. To which they said, they would only send me a new one after I cut the cord. I’m sorry - you now want me to have no coffee maker at all until you finally decide to send a new one (which, by the way, I have zero faith in). I really wish I could change my two stars I gave it before to zero. I was so excited about this two in one coffee maker - mostly for aesthetic purposes on my counter (I bought this, the toaster, and the air fryer to all match and be clean and slim). This coffee maker is no match to a keurig - mine is about 30 days old and makes a huge mess every single day (completely negating the aesthetics feature I loved about it) and literally does not tell you (in any form) when the water is low. So, you basically waste a pod or end up with a weird double brewed cup of coffee. I just feel disappointed (the toaster also seems so slim that it nearly burns everything we put in it). No issues with the air fryer - that one is actually quite nice. ... show more
