    • Probably the Best Electric Skillet We've Owned

A very nice electric fry pan. We have had many different brands and most of them only last a year or so. This one has a beautiful non-stick finish which appears to be more durable. It has good capacity. It cleans up easily but I typically soak the cooking area first with soapy water for 10 minutes prior to cleaning up which makes it super easy to clean. I highly recommend doing that. Just fill it with soapy water and put it off to the side while you do the other dishes and do the skillet last. Stuff just wipes off with the wet sponge. It has features we haven't used, e.g., a place to wind the cord and to prop the lid. We do use the lid lock just for storage, not for carrying. It seems to cook fairly evenly. The cord/thermostats seem to usually be the weak link with any electric fry pan and this one doesn't seem much different from the others we have encountered. Not sure if the manufacturer offers replacements should we ever need one? Would be nice to know. Overall, this is a very nice and durable electric skillet that cooks well and cleans up easily. ... show more

It took me a long time to pull the trigger on an electric skillet. We are currently under construction at our house and do not have a functioning kitchen what so ever. No stove, oven or any type of burner. We also have a limited counter space on the fold out tables we are currently using as "kitchen counters". I did extensive research on skillets and landed on this one. It heats up very quickly and is easy to set up. I was pleasantly surprised by the non stick surface as not having a proper sink has thrown a wrench in my dish washing since I cannot use out kitchen sink. Having this electric skillet has saved us soooo much time and space as it is super versatile. I had planned on getting a burner so I can use my stainless steel pots for things like pasta, gumbo, stews,....but I am happy to say that after using it for almost 3 weeks...I can cook a box of pasta with absolutely no problems and gumbo turns out just as good when I use my cast iron pot. And if you know anything about gumbo; having to stir flour and oil for 45+ minutes is a pain. But being able to set the temp to exact number I need...I was able to make my roux perfect!! I am debating picking up a second one just to speed up one of the more complex dishes but one is doing just fine for now. Definitely worth the price. The only reason I docked a point is because....cleaning. As much as I can appreciate being able to wash the while unit...I don't feel comfortable having the area exposed where the temperature control gets plugged in. I really wish the bowl part was able to be detached with ease, instead of having to unscrew the whole thing. I want this appliance to last, and I can see water damaging the area where temp control plugs in. Outside of that, I still highly recommend this unit! ... show more

I was concerned ordering this plug-in pan as the last couple I've received were so thin that they warped badly but this thing is non-stick exactly like it says and Cooks perfect. I am so impressed with this plugin this review almost seems fake or purchase but it's not. I'm usually pretty rough on Amazon products but this product and I bought a purple one I don't know if different colors are made different but I don't care about the color I wash it so good to make sure there's no oil anywhere because I want to keep this thing for a long time. If you like using countertop plugins which I am a cook and I always say they make way better meals this thing is worth its money. ... show more

    • One of the best skillets

This is truly one of the best skillets I have ever purchased. The product heats well and nothing burns. I like that in the manual it gives you a list of foods and what temperatures to cook on. None of my other skillets ever had that, so that is probably sometimes things would burn or get stuck on the surface. The surface is excellent. So far I have made several things, especially eggs which always seemed to get stuck. Not with this skillet. One mistake I used to make was heating the skillet and spraying it before it heated up. Now I learned to warm it up and lightly spray it with olive oil. Everything slides around easily like an ice skating rink and am able to get the food easily with a spoon or spatula. As for cleanup, it is a breeze and super easy. So far all I have had to do is spritz with a bit of water and wipe it clean. Haven’t had to do any major cleaning or scrubbing. The size is perfect for me and my family and it stores away with no problem . Definitely a versatile product that I’m glad to have in my kitchen. ... show more

Works fantastic! Love how deep it is. Great for cooking meat slow in gravy. Truly non stick. Made sturdy, and looks classy. The lid clasps, and cord holder is a nice extra touch. Totally recommend this electric skillet.
