It is slim and fits perfect in a smaller kitchen next to the microwave but it's opening for the bread is actually really wide, definitely better than your standard toaster when it comes to things like texas toast or a bagel. I also love the color and it does look much better than a typical silver toaster on the counter. That said, the outside is made of a hard plastic so if it ever did malfunction, it more likely to melt than a standard metal toaster. Overall it is well made, works well, and is easy to use.     • Crumb tray not perfect.

Love the toaster size and slot width, since I tend to toast sourdough bread a lot. The only Issue I have with it is that the crumb tray does not work very well, as there are always crumbs on the counter after use! Not a show stopper, just a minor annoyance.
