Perfect for saving space. Looks good and works great. So happy with this order. Fits long pieces of toast or two slices ( the two slices will stick out of the top just a little but you can flip the slices if you are doing two, I don't mind doing this for the space it saves).     • Space saving is no good if the appliance is an epic fail
I thought that the concept of the slim toaster was an ingenious way to open up counter space and still have the ability to toast bread, bagels, English muffins etc… An eternal optimist, I purchased one hoping for the best. However, after six separate attempts with six separate baked goods, I am here to tell you I am returning this toaster straight away this morning. Here is the breakdown: if you purchase bread that is sliced from a wider loaf (not the store brand bread that is usually a thinner width like a generic version of Wonder bread) so let’s say a sourdough YOU CANNOT FIT TWO SLICES SIDE TO SIDE to brown them together. You have to toast one slice at a time. You also cannot put them in short side top to bottom as it will stick out 3 or so inches and will not toast that way either. So, either way you cannot toast two slices at a time. Secondly, there is no even toasting at all. With all of my attempts, it darkened the left side more than the right and there was no continuity of color no matter what number you selected to toast at. In regard to the number dial button, it in NO way had consistent performances when choosing different numbers for different toasting types. I am being 100% honest here; it is willy flippen nilly! It went from a light dusting of sand color to ETHEREAL MOLTEN LAVA REMAINS of what might have been some sort of baked goods before this slim toaster got ahold of it! I am a fan of bella kitchen appliances and the fun new colors and trends that they sell. But, this slim toaster is a fail. Dead on arrival! I gave it a baker’s dozen times to win me over… Hard pass ... show more
