Best couch to buy if moving it up stairs!! It is Velvety. Wasn’t sure about how it would feel. It’s nice! I got the gray! With the velvety material, looks kind of tan in most lighting. Sturdy and comfortable. Once we layer on it, we Didn’t want to get up! We are thinking it will be great as an additional bed when we have family as well!! Update.m: had for a year and absolutely love it. Our son in law sleeps on it when they visit and the babies sleep with momma in the guest bedroom. He loves the couch. My husband and I love watching movies on this couch. I’ve moved the ottomans to the middle so it’s one long big couch and we recline the backs and lay there watching movies. I’ve fallen asleep on it many times!! My friend is ordering this now because of how much they love mine! Update: we have now had the couch for at least 3-4 years now!! Couch is still awesome! We have had baby bottles spilled and left on the couch from our daughter visiting and the couch still cleans up with ease!! No stains! We have had to tell our grandkids NOT to jump over the back side of the couch and to quit wrestling on it! LOVE LOVE LOVE. I've been wanting a modular couch for some time and ive been doing as much research as I can for an affordable option. Highly recommend. The color is absolutely beautiful and i love the functionality. I was worried about pet hair, however a lint roller does the job with ease. Puppy messes are also not a big deal. The fabric holds no "smell" after being washed which i absolutely love. My son also loves movie nights when we can set the couch up like a theater. So easy to rearrange. This couch is very soft and comfortable. My whole family enjoys the versatility of the modular sofa and we can rearrange the sections really easily. Upon receipt, one section was damaged but Belffin was very helpful and replaced the entire section with no return needed. I definitely recommend!

2.5 years later: I STILL hate this couch more than anything. Worst purchase mistake ever! If you are a small person (to be politically correct) and like sitting on a cardboard box, and love 90° angles, then this is the couch for you. Otherwise, don’t waste your money. It’s short, hard, and uncomfortable. Zero lumbar support. Plus the adjustable backs (or half backs for a better description) break and stay flimsy. Downgrading my rating to 1 star. ETA: I HATE this couch. It is so uncomfortable. Worst $2k ever spent (not sure of the current price. Material has held up well, but be prepared for a sore butt. The couch was easy to put together. It’s a little stiff, but it is just out of the box. Hopefully it softens up a little. We are missing one of the backs to the sections, hopefully we can get one sent to us.
