Having never done so, was very apprehensive to make such a major piece of furniture & purchase amount online. Kept researching, measuring, reading details, options, reviews, so actually had it sitting in wish list for months. BUT with coupon discount already available in listing, once AMAZON offered such a GREAT lightning deal too, we finally decided to go ahead and order. Just in time for the holidays AND now, so glad we did !! 9 large boxes shipped quickly & arrived all at once. FEDEX delivery was excellent..did not stack but neatly lined up boxes side by side. No damage at all to boxes OR any pieces inside. Packaging of each unit in a spunbond type of fabric "bag" made it easy to lift each pre-assembled storage base up & out of box. So each box wouldn't have to be sliced or "torn" open (just in case of return). And by pre-assembled I mean each "storage" base already had the spring hardware inside installed & ready to flip open. Yay ! Assembly of the "backs" does take a bit of time & some muscle, but you only have to use a phillips head screwdriver. And multiples are provided! The first back was a bit tricky to attach to its base, but once lined up right & you get the hang of it, found they fit in quite easily & tightly thereafter. The metal hardware & concept to secure each base together to keep them from sliding apart upon sitting is so much more clever & sturdy than any other design we have dealt with on sectionals before AND are hidden from view once secured. We purchased a set of 8 flip-open modules w/ backs & attached to each other... plus 1 backless "ottoman" base unattached to any others so that we can move it around freely to accomodate whichever way we like, when we like. The arrangement options are awesome & the storage in each base is most definitely a plus. Cushions & back pillows have piping for a nice finished touch & will hold shape much better than end seams just sewn together. Also the cushions need some time to decompress & "rise". I read in reviews that some people didn't do this & if you sit on it before doing so you will feel like the cushions are too soft & sinking. But once you let it expand properly, we found the seats to be firm yet soft & comfortable to sit on, recline, or lie down. Last but not least, we chose black velvet fabric & it really is VELVET. A very nice surprise. It's not a pseudo-type of velvet, so it's a deep rich black color AND unlike other one-way pile velvets or faux suede velvets, (which we have had in the past) with 2 cats, have found their fur wipes off easily, just as was advertised. So our experience thus far has been extremely pleasant & positive. We have no idea how long or how well it will hold up but are very very pleased with this purchase.

I decided to go with this product because it was significantly more affordable than any other product offered directly on their Belffin website. Perfect for its price. I spent way too much time studying all the customer reviews between this and other similar products on Amazon and Wayfair, hesitating to pull the trigger for about 6 months because I had a VERY specific wishlist to check off (pet friendly features & quality, size/shape, color, storage and comfortability) and I really wanted to get the best quality for my budget. I'm so glad I went with this one!! So far I am in absolute love!! It's perfect for my space and feels high-end quality. The velvet upholstery is super soft and classy looking. I'm excited about the extra storage and the removable / machine washable covers. We'll see how the manufacturing quality holds up against my 3 Bully-mix breed dogs and 1 cat, as it's advertised to be "performance velvet". Many reviews had mentioned that the seats sit too low for the taller folks. Thankfully I'm only 5'2". It might sit slightly lower than average but still seems like a pretty standard seat height to me. I don't feel as if I'm sitting on the floor at all. I will admit the backs do seem short but the adjustable tilting on the arm & back rests make up for that in my opinion. The cushions seats are firm yet comfortable. Adding some throw blankets and accent pillows should make this couch movie-night ready! I'm extremely excited to host people over for gatherings, now that I have more space for us to sit and lounge. I really wanted a product that would maximize the seating options for my small, oblong rectangular living room area. The assemble of this product took me about 4-5 total hours to do on my own but only because I have ADHD (aka distractions) and I wanted to thoroughly inspect each box to make sure everything was in pristine shape, just in case I needed to report any damages or missing parts for refund/replacement. Their warranty/instructions emphasized keeping the original packaging for product returns/refunds/replacements. Otherwise it was super easy to follow instructions and pretty straightforward to assemble! As far as delivery goes, I received all of my expected packages on the same day and they came a few days sooner than I expected. Not sure if that's just because I ordered it specifically on Amazon or the fact that I live right off the main highway around my city (near our local Amazon fulfillment center). Side note: Pretty sure my packages came with an extra back cushion by accident. They sent me three Carton-A and four Carton-D packages, but maybe I was supposed to receive a Carton-B package instead of one of the others. (you'll understand once you get yours lol) Regardless, I'm not complaining because it all worked out perfectly! I will make sure to add updates as needed, if possible!

I'm in LOVE with this couch! I previously had a modern leather sectional that was never really comfortable. When it started peeling I decided it was time to replace it. My requirements were something modern, modular, comfortable, affordable, and good quality. I went to several furniture stores and websites but couldn't find "the one." I checked out the popular, overpriced cardboard like sectional we all heard of and was not impressed. I loved the feeling of some of the cloud style couches but they looked too frumpy to me. Then...I found The Belffin! This couch was a gamer changer. It's the perfect blend of comfort, quality, and sophistication. Plus, it has storage and reclining backrests!!! What more could a girl ask for? This set would be like 10K if it was the love "couch." Anyway, the product arrived in record time with straightforward instructions and all the tools you need to assemble it. This literally came with a real screwdriver for each ottoman (a good one too). If this isn't thoughtful I don't know what is. Honestly, I think it's a cost savings opportunity for the seller, but the thought is certainly appreciated. The couch itself is good quality and comfortable to sit and sleep on. The material is soft but resilient as I have two poms who still sneak on my couch from time to time leaving drool and pawprints behind. However, I've been able to get them up with ease using only a damp rag. It's very easy to configure this couch to suit your needs even for someone who's 125 lbs. Right now I'm digging the pit style but I can change it whenever I like which is the beauty of it. Also, if you're looking for this same ginormous set I recommend starting with ASIN: B0B5X73TTR. I wish I saw this configuration first because you save some money buying in bulk. Overall I'm very happy with this couch. If you're contemplating about buying this, I would say it's time to pull the trigger. You'll thank me later.

UPDATE: I can’t rave about this couch enough!! If you have kids get it, everything just wipes off! Daughter has spilled milk, juice and it doesn’t soak in right away, just wipes right off. She wrote on it with crayons and it just wipes off. Plus insane storage. Just do it Highly recommend!!! Pros: 1. Sooo much storage!! Each seat is a storage ottoman, super spacious, we throw all our babies toys in there, great for families with kids 2. It’s almost water resistant. We’ve had several small water spills and it just pools on top for quick wipe. Been super easy to wipe and keep clean 3. Super easy to put together and let’s you rearrange the set up as much as you like. 4. They’re FIRM but super comfy 5. Amazing customer service from this company Cons: I wish seats were deeper. It’s ok when we have 2 deep but just one isn’t as comfortable for lounging. If you’re looking for modular couch this is a really good one. Let’s see how it holds up over time.

Pros: well made, very easy to assemble, love that each seat has storage underneath. Con’s: Back is too short especially for people 6’ or taller. You almost feel as if you’re sliding forward. Even though the sofa is comfortable and firm, it’s not great for “lounging “ I find the arm rests a bit hard. if you are simply sitting with feet on the floor, it’s wonderful. I prefer to sit on a recliner. My son & friends enjoy laying on it with tons of pillows & gaming or watching movies. Overall, it was a good purchase

First on all I just want to say the high quality of service from this vendor is unmatched. They went way above and beyond to make this purchase to my satisfaction. Unlike Amazon itself, whose multiple customer service representatives lied to me and gave me erroneous information at every turn for over two months through their A-Z Guarantee. I cannot sing the praises of this company enough. Now onto the sofa itself. I first started looking at the local big stores but the astronomical cost now a days has me at a loss for words. I was also in need of a sofa that could be disassembled, brought down a very tight staircase to my basement, and then reassembled. This sofa seemed to fit the bill. It goes without saying that I was apprehensive purchasing a sofa sight unseen, but decided to do it. After a two month delay, having nothing to do with this company or product, I finally received the sofa. On a side note, please be aware that Amazon itself has changed from the Amazon in the past. They are not customer friendly anymore and their A to Z Guarantee is a farce. They will make you jump through hoops and then lie to you with no one that you can speak to having any answers for you. Additionally, PLEASE BE AWARE that unlike other credit card companies, if you use your Amazon store card issued through Synchrony Bank, you will have no protection against purchases made through Amazon. Synchrony Bank is Amazon and will never go against them. I spent two months disputing a charge, submitted all of the evidence needed, but Synchrony Bank never looked at the evidence and only found in favor of Amazon without ever giving a reason. In the end, I was threated by Synchrony Bank with damage to my credit score if I continued to dispute the charge. I now only use a credit card not associated with Amazon when making purchases. I have more of a chance of them having my best interest in mind. Back to the sofa. The boxes are heavy, around 50lbs so make sure you have some help bringing them to the location. Building them was simple, instructions really were not needed but are provided. The sofa looks good and feels even better then I could have hoped for. They seem well constructed and durable but only time will tell. The family loves the sofa and in six months, if it holds up, I will by another one for my vacation home. Lastly, the under the seat storage is a game changer for me, all of the kids toys are no longer all over the floor.

UPDATE: After having this couch for almost a year, I can say that we are ready to buy another couch. The couch cushions are beginning to lose their firmness and are starting to get uncomfortable to sit on. The depth of the seat is pretty shallow when you have the removable cushions on. But, if you remove the cushions to gain seat depth, then you deal with an uncomfortable pad to rest your back. The biggest issue is the lack of height on the back of the couch. Sooo many neck strains and back pains when sitting upright or even slightly slid down. It's not a horrible couch, but if you are going to spend over a 1k on a couch, do your research and find a physical couch to sit on and try out. If I could do it again, I wouldn't purchase this couch. I was super skeptical about purchasing furniture online without seeing it in person, but the reviews made me pull the plug. First, this couch is huge and the boxes they come in are huge, so be prepared! But, we LOVE this couch! It’s big enough to fit our family and then some! Movie night has definitely improved. The seats are firm but not in an uncomfortable way, they’re the perfect firmness for comfort. The storage is a major plus! The extra ottoman makes for a perfect corner lounge seat for curling up with a book or watch a movie. The seats aren’t that deep when the backs are fully upright, but it still sits comfortably. With the back reclined it’s even better! The back cushions are really comfortable! Only downside is when putting it together, a leg was broken when arrived and some of the parts didn’t quite match up to set up correctly. Pet hair and any type of lint will stick to this couch like a magnet, but a simple swipe of the vacuum and it removes easily. Do not regret my purchase and will end up buying another ottoman!

For starters, I had a tracking number that said my 9 pieces would be delivered on Monday. 2 of the pieces arrived the day before, Sunday, and I immediatly contacted their customer service to see what was going on. They quickly replied with 7 additional tracking numbers, causing my confusion and panic to subside with easy. Their customer service staff was incredible friendly and fast. You can't ask for anything better. Next up is the couch! All the parts are interchangable, so putting it together is very easy. You can get creative with it, you could easily buy more parts to change the functionality of it. I love it. The color was exactly as advertised. The couch is incredibly comfortable and supporting. Its both firm and soft. The storage is out of this world. It truly is a great couch. Everything about it. It looks good, it makes the room look much larger than it is the way we layed it out. And like I said before, when our needs change and we use it in a different room/situation we can change it into something else. It's a great couch. And I again, give credit where credit is due, their customer service is top notch!
