Based on reviews I was not sure what size to get. I'm 5'4", 120lbs, around a size 4. I've supplied pics of both the x-small and small/medium. Either would have worked but I'm glad I got the x-small. You can see in the pics, the small/medium just puckered more around my waist. It was not terrible but the x-small fit much more smoothly. If you are on the fence, go with the smaller. The fabric is soft, stretchy and very comfortable. Did not ride up. The tail did weigh down the back a bit so I found myself pulling up my waist line quite a bit even in the x-small but for the comfort of the stretchy, soft fabric it was worth the tug here and there through the night. I was uber comfy and got tons of "cat calls" ;)

I purchased a small and an extra-small to see which one fit better (the pics of are the xsmal). I'm 5'8" 125lbs 32C and tend to wear small tops and sz 2-3 pants. I have a long torso so I was concerned that the top part would be too short (exposing my boobs). Luckily, the material was stretching enough that both sizes were adequately able to cover my girls (but definitely a bit more cleavage in the xsmall). The xsmall fit me like a glove which I was going for. The only downside is that the xsmall rides up my butt a bit, but the way the tail naturally falls actually hides it pretty well. The small still fit well too, although it was a bit baggy in some parts like the lower legs, the shoulders, and the back (the sewn on tail is fairly heavy and pulls the material in the back downwards... so if its not tight fitting it will sag a bit). If you're curvier than me, I'd definitely go with a small since there wasn't much wiggle in the xsmall (the xsmall was like a tight fitting one piece suit or leotard). Also, you could easily wear a bandeau bra top underneath if you wanted to cut back on cleavage.

So glad I got the sm/md and not the larger size as some suggested. It's colors are vibrant, fit is great, and soft medium thick material. If you have bumps and thumps have no fear, the material and material cover it well. I am very curvy, 32FF 5'5" around 150 and this fit me great! After bathroom breaks it did stretch out some, otherwise it fit great and I got a lot of compliments. I just wish it had a zipper so you didn't have to pull up and down while outfit making it stretch out.
