I am impatient so that’s important to me. I have had to mess with them to learn the best way to use this product but over all this is a great product. Tips: buff buff and buff some more. I've been looking for a sparkly red for Christmas for a while now and this set is perfect! The colors are similar to the ones shown. My first time using this set I used the liquids that were included and it chipped maybe after about 1 week or so. This was my first time using a dip powder kit. I used the clear dip powder and used gel polish to get the finished look. From start to finish was 45 minutes. Would recommend to anyone.

I was a skeptic. I didn’t think the whole process or product would work well. But I have to say, I was totally impressed by the product! Yes, it is not perfect but this was my first time applying and I think it turned out pretty great considering I had no idea what I was doing. I wanted to go simple the first time around but I think I will try something a little crazier next go round. It does take a bit of time but I think to fill in or add to it will be a faster process. I will say that the price and the selection of colors are great! However, chipping happened same day. I did my left hand first and noticed cracks. I thought it was a marbling effect because this was my first time using this brand and product but unfortunately it was not. Before I could finish my right hand, the corners of a few of my nails on the left hand chipped and by next day, chunks of the dip were missing. I removed that set and thought I'd try again with another color. Instead of yellow, I chose the vibrant pink. Again, beautiful colors! Repeated the process, left hand then right. By the time I got to my right hand, the 1/3 base-top coat had just given out and destroyed every brush that was in the set. Not sure if it went through a chemical decomposition but it was no longer functional. (Mind you this is only 2 days between the first and second attempt using this system). I tried brush cleaner from other products and to no avail, the brushes were destroyed making it a bit difficult to complete my right. But I pressed on. Again, before I could leave my house, my left hand had multiple missing/chipped pieces in the dip (I wasn't fighting a dragon, just brushing my hair and doing makeup). Right hand somehow withstood going to brunch but because of the inconsistencies in the brush/stroke pattern b/c the 1/3 base-top coat gave out, it hand mini mounds, crevices, etc. Not a great look. At any rate, the right hand let me make it until I got in my car to travel home but the chipping began. Once home, I was able to pop the dip off like press on nails. Great colors but DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! ... show more

This was my first experience with dip powders (Nevermind my dry cuticles…it’s gardening season). After following the directions through to the final top coat I was almost disappointed at how “lumpy” the result was. BUT…going back and buffing until smooth, applying a nice regular polish top coat or in this case a UV gel top coat…the manicure came out beautiful! The buffing did not ruin the chunky glitter (I did 2 coats of light pink powder and 1 of chunky glitter), it simply took away the random rough pieces of glitter away. So, the lesson here is to buff or file down your dip powders after the activation stage until they are silky smooth! Great product, just wish it came with an extra bottle of activator. ... show more
