  • Very impressed with this kit!!
I got this kit so I could save money and do my nails at home, I totally suck at using regular nail polish. The kit is super easy to use although it does take a few times to totally get the hang of it. I fully shape and buff my nails before applying the powder. You do have to be somewhat precise when applying the base coat so that it goes on evenly, otherwise the powder will end up clumpy in spots. I can get them to last about a week (and that's with me not doing them the greatest) which I don't mind cuz thats usually how long they'd last if I got them done in a nail salon. When applying the base you do have to be careful to not get it on your cuticles or on the sides of the nail where your skin meets, otherwise the powder will lift off in a couple days (some of the lower reviews with pics looked as if the person didn't apply it very well and thats why it chipped or broke). I've typically done 3 coats of the powder but I'll have to try 2 coats to see if that'll make them last longer. Overall, I'm beyond happy with this kit and I've impressed myself by giving my nails a salon quality look at home!! I'm now looking to get other colors to have more options ... show more

  • AMAZING
I purchased this during the pandemic when nail salons were closed. I had already purchased the Beetles gel manicure set, including a UV lamp. I was then on the search for a way to do my nails at home, but this time with tips. I bought a separate case of 100 fake nails which went perfectly with this dip set. I'd glue the fake nails on, follow the instructions and accomplish PERFECT salon quality tips with absolutely gorgeous colors. The dip process is SO simple, just follow the instructions! Also, the dip lasts longer than gel and obviously regular polish. I'm a pro now! I do my friends and families nails too now! Also, they dry immediately when you apply the last step. AMAZING 10000/10! ... show more

  • I gave it 4 stars because of learning curve
This is my second attempt at a manicure and I think it looks pretty good. First attempt was thick and gritty and bumpy and rough and chipped off within days. I know exactly where I went wrong. * Start with a very thin layer of bottle 1&3. Like dip the brush and wipe it on the bottle twice. * Dip your nail. * Wait about 20 seconds and use one of the extra polish brushes to dust off excess powder. The little black sponge included is trash. * Repeat with bottle 1&3 and dipping until you get the thickness you like. I did 2 dips for this picture. Keep it thin though - don't glop it on ever. * Get a buffing Emory board, the kind that has like no grit at all. Buff your nails to get them as smooth feeling as possible. * Use the bottle #2 and then use bottle 1&3 (just like instructions say) for a top coat. * Then when you're confident everything is hard and dry, buff it all again. Really good. Make it super smooth. Take off all the shine. Keep buffing. * Wipe nails with rubbing alcohol. * Polish with your regular top coat. I feel pretty confident that this will not chip in a couple of days because the color isn't a thick and piled on around the edges of the nail. Apologies for the nasty hangnail on my thumb. ... show more

  • 3 strikes and it is going back
When the package arrived a strong odor was seeping out of the box, bottles were in tack and it appeared nothing had spilled. Not sure if it was the powder or one of the liquids but something was not working the way it should. The system was simple and seemed to be going well at first. I did a few nails at a time, and once they had all dried I noticed there was inconsistency in the way the nails looked. It drove me crazy, so I attempted to fix the nails that were noticeably different from the rest. It took forever to remove the polish following the file, 100% acetone, cotton pad, foil, clips, and heated. Had to repeat this process 3 times and the sticky film was still on my nails. Once I finally got my nails to look the same, within an hour one of them cracked, then a second, and then a third. Frustrated but determined I attempted to fix those nails. Happy and optimistic that this next batch would be great, by mid-day a nail cracked, then a second and a third. With three attempts to try and make it work, they continued to disappoint. My nails are now ruined and any hope of doing dipped nails at home have now fled :(( ... show more

  • So great easy and same as professional.
I don't normally review products but I just had to say how great this is! My pics are my first try ever with any diy dip. I've only had salon dip twice and both were fine, expensive, thick and even chipped. This system came with clear instructions. The product is good. The colors are good and they have many sets to choose from. I watched a few videos first. This was so easy. Also when I was done I went out into sun light and found a bunch of mistakes. But I just took a glass file and detailed the edges around my cuticle and now it's perfect. I put pics before and after this. They feel good and smooth and strong. I didn't use the file that comes with it cause it's so thick and I don't want to damage my nails. I just used a soft square foam file I had. I recommend this big time. ... show more

  • Love!
I have very paper thin nails, when I use this dip alone, they tend to crack and chip pretty easily BUT I have bought some glue on nail tips and tried the dip powder…wonderful! I absolutely love the outcome, I would suggest using tips/clear press on nails under the dip if you have very thin nails like I do! Keeps on my toes for ever it seems like without chipping or cracking in the summer while wearing sandals everyday! Love this product and will continue to use it! ... show more

  • Doesn't last
I have tried to use this product for over a year, and no matter how much prep I do, my nails never last more than a week without chipping. Takes too long for not great results. Don't spend your money on this, getting a better quality option. I have watched many tutorials, thinking maybe it was user error but nothing changed. Other products last much longer. ... show more
