We had wasps make a nest in the tiniest of cracks near our front door. We were going to hire a pest control company, but after doing some research I figured this was something I could do myself. Their numbers had gotten so bad I stopped taking my toddler outside to play. So I ordered this suit, some gloves, and a bottle of Tempo Dust. I considered purchasing a cheaper suit, but decided this was not the time to try and save a few dollars and went with this one. Besides, the suit, gloves, and powder combined were still cheaper than hiring someone to do it. The suit is true to size (follow the chart provided) and the material feels sturdy. I also put on sweat pants and a sweater under the suit, but honestly probably didn't need it (Im allergic to their stings and didn't want to take any chances). Following the advice given in other reviews, I also put on a baseball cap to keep the fabric away from my face. I DEFINITELY would have gotten stung without this suit. Two angry wasps tried their hardest to attack my face, but try as they might my face stayed safe and secure. I climbed the ladder and proceeded to insert the dust into the tiny hole they were using as an entrance. They came out confused and angry buzzing around the entrance trying to understand what disturbed their nest and I stayed perfectly safe. By that afternoon, we were once again playing in our front yard and not a single German Wasp disturbed us. I plan on adding more powder in a week to deal with any hatching eggs. The quality of the suite is good. The problem I am having is the netting occasionally touches nose and chin I was stung on the chin ouch. There needs to be something ridged in the hood the keeps it from collapsing and letting the netting touch your face... a ballcap did not work

This suit is a rea; piece of junk! The zipper on the head piece broke first use. After fixing it I went into a hive with fairly gentle bees. I started to get attacked in the face when the sun went under the clouds. My fac touching the veil on the bottom was touching my chin. I got stung more than 20 times as I had the hive fully taken down harvesting honey. I too several Benadryl for swelling and then 4 hours later to the emergency room as it became difficult to swallow. Got an Epi shot and a steroid. Better, but my whole face swelled up. There is something definitely missing in this suit. Needless to say. I will never again wear this one! I had a hat on hoping to hold it away from my chin but that simply did not work. Design is fatally flawed! ... show more

This is a standard bee suit ment for honey bees nothing more but the net was to small and kept rubbing up against my face so I had to wear a hat so I wouldn't get stung in the face because bees go straight for your face because they can't stand the carbon dioxide. But I bought the wrong suit I have bumble bees and I felt it I couldn't walk for a few days for me this suit was useless but I decided to keep it because of the future id buy gloves also if your going to be getting close to bees and if your a big person like me I'd recommend to go bigger size to fit more comfortable ... show more

Works great but you need to wear at least one shirt (maybe 2) underneath and a ball cap to keep the netting away from your face. Also, add a strip of duct tape over the velcro flap. These added tricks will help prevent stings - only because bees are vigilant and can get through the tiniest of openings. Excellent suit. ... show more

Hi Bee's and co. I received the beekeeper suit, and the quality is Great, it is thick material with well sewn seams. It is for my mom for Christmas, so I can comment on the size chart, but it looks true to the description. PS if you are read comment on amazon before you purchase products, please remember to leave comments when you receive items that are top quality. Great quality! Only thing I don’t like is the vail isn’t large enough to not touch my head somewhere... makes me nervous for my nose or back of my head is touching the hood, haven’t gotten stung tho. Just a personal preference

Great suit, not a dedicated bee keeper but had to extract a large hive in the eaves on my garage and did not want to kill the bees. No stings, its hot here in Texas but worth the sweat to not get stung. Overall would recommend this product as advertised and the sizing is spot on. Am 6'3" and it fit just right.
