I've bought over two dozen Beelink machines this year. I've had issues with three of them, which is more than I'd like but not terrible. Their warranty service and customer support is terrible. TERRIBLE. That being said, the computers are priced very competitively and when they work, they work well. Buy this if you are comfortable getting it installed and the issues ironed out in the Amazon return window because once you're dealing with Beelink you're in for a long rough road. Customer service responses come from overseas and take 1-2 days and generally involve requesting the same information over and over. Return shipping for defective items is at the customers expense and they require you not use USPS which makes for an expensive and time consuming return ($40 in my case). So why rate it highly? When they work these units are great and they are priced low enough you can just buy a spare to keep on hand while you spend a month with customer service getting one replaced. The units are easy enough to open and contain a spot for a 2.5" sata drive and the hardware to install one. The VESA bracket is a bit annoying as it only allows attaching from one side and places the machine such that the power button is very inconvenient. You can switch the case around so it attaches on the back but it requires significant modification (grinding metal and drilling holes).

was deciding between the ser5 pro and the ser6 pro. this ser6 though is definitely that step above you want from the ser5 pro. will be doing upgrades to this unit. but still, its a very powerful 16GB from the factory. gaming from something this sized.. youd be surprised.

Bought another brand and it was the worst video/monitor output ever. A relative bought the first one and it was fantastic. easy as pie to set up (BTW I hate WIN11), but the Beelink NUC makes it a breeze to learn it. Dual HDMI outputs, plenty of USB 3.0 and a very well placed type C in front. HDMI 1 short & one reg size cable included. Additional kit (plate-screws) provided to mount it in various places included. Easy to open and add SATA SSD or to change M.2 (that's what the little red tab on the bottom is for to pull open the bottom plate). Word of caution the NUCs can overheat in extreme warm conditions (like f'n florida). Suggest buying USB powered (available on Amazon) fan to assist with cooling. After nearly 2 months I'm still having 3 behaviors that are problematic. As I'm using the device primary as a remote access PC within my house it will occasionally fail to go into sleep mode and when that happens the device starts heating up and needs to be hard restarted. When the device enters this stuck state and I attempt to remote into it my whole home network crashes and my router has to restart. If the device goes into this stuck state while a remote session is open sometimes the pc im currently using will also lockup and also need to be restarted. Despite these quirks I do still love the machine. Its powerful, has more than enough memory to handle any task I've thrown at it. It has made me reconsider how power the rest of my full size desktops and laptops need to really be. Others can run the benchmarks but everything I've seen on the cpu and considering the teardown videos I've seen on the devices servicing the m.2 ssd and ram will be pretty easy to do. As for the quirks to be fair I haven't tried a clean reinstall of Windows 11 yet nor try downgrading Windows 11 to an older version or Linux to see if either of those options resolve the issues yet. So I haven't reached the limit of self help for my power user setup yet on the device. It has made me willing to recommend mini pcs to my friends and family that don't need all the power of a standard desktop but don't want a laptop or tablet either.

I am currently using this as an HTPC that runs Kodi and RetroArch . I have comfortably run everything up to PS2 with render upscaling. I was able to bind my Switch Pro controller over bluetooth with no issues. I am running a SteamOS (Linux) distro on this. Installs were quick and easy with the kernel picking up all the hardware. I am told it has a fan, but I have yet to hear it during any kind of use. Even after gaming for a few hours the device is almost imperceptibly warm. Overall I have been very happy with the build quality and performance of this device and will likely purchase another Beelink device for my upstairs TV in the future.
