Solid all-metal housing was important to me because of heat dissipation as well as protective housing. Setup was flawless and fast. Performance is outstanding. I got the Beelink SER5 3600H with 32 gb RAM and 500 gb SSD NVME. It runs so well that I was anxious to review this little powerhouse. I used to build my own PCs and my last one was an "AirBook" that I have bootcamped so I can choose "ios" or "windows" at startup which I like. I have never seen such speed and snappiness from such a perfect little metal box with active and passive cooling plus the advantage of being steel. Hand-holding setup/PNP. "Windows 11" installed and updated with ease. I'm not a big gamer but I understand that with the integrated graphics chip it's mediocre. I played a newer online FPS just to see and the Beelink performed well. Aesthetically, this computer's case has been made mention in pro reviews for being beveled very nicely and seamlessly. The fan doesn't need to engage with my usage; however, it's very quiet and the case ventilated tastefully on both sides as well as the back. I am impressed with the premium Crucial RAM and blazing fast Kingston SSD "NVME". Only slightly warm to touch and power block runs cool. You can't go wrong with the Beelink SER 5 5600H is a powerhouse in a small package. Again, beautifully designed case and room to add another drive. Two HDMI cables, power block, extension for attaching another drive and simple instructions. This has surpassed all of my expectations.

I have 2 issues with the beelink ser5 5600h/32/500. The Goods. It is really fast, runs VM's very well. I run debian 11 as the host OS and use this as a touch screen media center in my vehicle. Then have kvm/qemu virtual machines running tuning software to tune and data log my vehicle on the fly. It performs well, I have steam installed and run a few mildly graphics intensive games running 60fps at 1080 with no issue. Beamng on LOW is playable, this game is very hard on hardware, so I am not judging based on this. The audio quality is really good, better than all of the others I have had installed previously. The build quality is excellent, metal body, designed well and easy to work on/disassemble etc. Has enough ports, I have not used the type-c as of yet, so am not sure of its capabilities. The Bads. The first. The ax200 wifi chip, works beautifully until it awakes from system suspend, then the chip becomes non responsive and will not recover without a power cycle. I am replacing with a ax210, hopefully this fixes it. The second. When I turn off one of my monitors, when powering back on the graphics does not detect it until I unplug the hdmi and plug it back in, given the location this is installed in... its a BIG issue. The monitor is installed as a touch screen in a vehicle, this is the 3rd mini pc I have had in this vehicle, and the first time having this issue. Maybe theres a bios setting that I havent found yet that can help with issue 2. But overall it seems like I am taking in the gain of higher performance while losing some stability and ease of use. I will update this as I keep dialing it in.

( There's a fingerprint reader??? ) I have used this mini PC for a couple of weeks so far and haven't had any issues. It runs very well and is extremely fast compared to other devices I have owned and used. Here is the pros and cons of this device: Pros: * Extremely fast speeds when browsing the internet and doing offline tasks. * A lot of storage * Capable of running many things at once including music streaming and video/photo editing. * Takes up basically no space. Cons: * Fan is a little loud. It will kick on and be very noticeable with every task performed. * Expensive but so is every PC. Overall, a very nice mini PC that exceeded my expectations.

This unit arrived quickly and came with Windows 11 preinstalled. Owing to several software issues, I had to reinstall Windows 11, and used the Microsoft version from the media creation tool. At that point, Windows indicated that I needed to activate it, which was unsuccessful. I emailed product support and within hours received an email with a license number to input. At first, the Windows activation server argued with me and said that the license number was in use on another PC, but it ultimately did activate. Whew! As for the NUC, it is everything I expected it to be, although I do wish they had spent just a few pennies more and made the USB 2.0 ports 3.2 ones. There is only one 3.2 port on this PC, and my powered USB port extender is having issues with this NUC, so bear that in mind if you have multiple USB 3.2 peripherals. Sound, network, video, and Bluetooth all work well, and I feel that this NUC is a great value when on sale, which seems to happen a lot. I am not a gamer, but this little box is faster than my two-year-old homebuilt tower by quite a bit, so most mid-level games should run with no issues. With Beelink's stellar (in my case) tech support and the quality of this PC (so far), you really can't go wrong purchasing one of these bad boys. Obviously, if anything changes longevity-wise, I'll pop back in and update, but for now, this little unit is highly recommended.

Avoid this model and company. First the model is designed very poorly and does NOT allow good airflow and it overheats constantly. Adding in a second hard drive makes it even worse as it completely blocks the airflow to the CPU. I contacted them and they keep trying to make me fix it instead of returning and replacing under warranty. They have a know issue with airflow on this model and have done exactly zero to address it of fix it. AVOID THIS PRODUCT
