I waited a month after writing this review to ensure there was sufficient time to assess the overall performance of the computer. Having built my own computers over the years, I decided that mini computers offered a good value proposition. After researching various models for the last six months, I concluded that the Beelink SER8 had addressed many of the issues that initially plagued mini computers, such as overheating, unexpected reboots, and WiFi problems. This computer is primarily used for office tasks and photo editing. Overall, I’m very impressed with the system. Upon receiving the computer, I powered it up and completed the Windows 11 setup. After confirming that the SER8 was operating properly, I added a second drive (2TB), which was an easy installation. The only issue I encountered was that the audio did not return after the computer went to sleep. However, a reboot resolved the problem, and it has been the only issue so far. I’m particularly impressed by how low the CPU temperature remains when browsing the web or running office applications, typically around 95°F. Additionally, the WiFi performance is very good. Despite some concerns from past reviews, I have not experienced any problems. My home internet speed is 0.5 Gbps, and I’m consistently getting 440-460 Mbps. My only concern is the longevity of the system, as repairs could be extremely difficult.

I bought this little computer as a backup computer if my work-from-home main PC fails. I love it. I turn it on and use it for a day every couple of weeks to download any updates and stay used to it. It is good enough to be a lot of people's main PC. It may run basic games, but there are a lot of games it is not powerful enough for. Otherwise, it is nicely responsive in Windows and has nice video HDMI outputs. At this price it is a very nice extra insurance PC for when you suddenly need it and can't wait days for a replacement.

Great little machine. Unfortunately, it died after 3 months of light use and manufacturer will not return support emails for over week now. Contacted amazon and they said keep trying to get hold of beelink. Contacted asurion with whom I purchased protection plan and they said the unit is still under manufacturers warranty and I should contact beeLink. Needless to say at this point I am not amused. Buyer beware ... I truly hope this isolated incident and beelink will step up and take care of its customer.... One-Month Update: Disappointing Warranty Experience with Beelink Beelink has still not honored their warranty. After weeks of silence, they finally responded to my emails, only to subject me to dubious "troubleshooting" steps for a completely dead unit. When these efforts predictably failed, they requested a video of the process, adding unnecessary delays. They then proposed I ship the unit to China but insisted on avoiding reliable courier services like DHL or FedEx and refused to declare the proper value of the item. When I objected, they redirected me to a supposed "warehouse" in California. After some investigation, I discovered this address belongs to a container forwarding service. Other customers who followed similar instructions reported that Beelink later claimed the returned merchandise never arrived. I raised these concerns in a detailed letter to Beelink, but their response was essentially a repeat of their earlier instructions, as if they had no record of our prior communications. Dealing with their support feels like speaking to someone with amnesia—you have to start over every time. It’s baffling that a $650 product can't be promptly replaced through a standard RMA process. Instead, they deploy delay tactics, repeatedly requesting information I’ve already provided, such as the receipt, serial number, and specifications. I sincerely hope Amazon takes notice and removes Beelink from their platform. Their disregard for customers and lack of accountability is appalling. This review serves as a warning to others: think twice before purchasing their products. Below is the letter I sent to Beelink: Subject: Request for Immediate Warranty Resolution Dear Beelink, I am writing to address serious concerns about your warranty practices. Your growing reputation for delaying or denying warranty claims through questionable tactics is deeply troubling and has caused significant frustration, including in my case. The return address you provided appears to belong to a freight forwarding service rather than an actual warehouse. This raises a critical issue: once packages reach this address, tracking ceases, leaving customers vulnerable to claims that their returns never arrived. Numerous reports from dissatisfied customers reflect this exact scenario. I am requesting that you honor your warranty and replace the defective unit promptly. I am willing to return the unit directly to your facility in China with proper tracking and insurance to ensure accountability. I will not accept further delays or evasive tactics. Should you refuse to resolve this issue, I will escalate the matter by contacting consumer protection agencies in the United States and Amazon. I will also inform potential customers through public reviews and other channels to prevent others from enduring similar frustrations. I trust that you will reconsider your approach and resolve this matter swiftly and amicably. Replacing my daily driver Lenovo Yoga 7i w/ a 13th gen i7, 16GB RAM, and integrated Intel Iris XE graphics, I was expecting better video performance on the Beelink SER8, but maybe lacking CPU performance. What I've seen so far (on day 3 of use) is this beats the Lenovo on every front. Totally happy with the purchase, even handles some light gaming, but primarily use this for daily productivity tasks.

This review covers ONLY the SER5 MAX R7 7735HS 24GB/1TB unit. This is a problem unit. I've gotten two back to back that simply don't stay running long enough to get into windows. I know the power supplies are problematic on these units so I tested a known good power supply with the exact same results. The board itself has a problem and it seems like it might be an issue across multiple machines. I've bought and installed nearly a hundred Beelink units and generally I like them. This one is a dud, avoid it.

This PC was great at first but then I decided to install an update to repair the windows file since it said it was corrupt and all of a sudden Windows can’t load properly. I tried resetting the PC while keeping my files but it stuck in a boot loop. It appears my version of windows got corrupted somehow from that last update I did. I’m really pissed off because I like this PC a lot but the software issues will have me never order a beelink minipc ever again. I will reach out to beelink and see if they can send a clean version of the windows 11 install
