Love the speed and I'm so glad this has the Ryzen CPU. The only issue and this was NOT caused by Beelink was that the Windows Pro started having usability issues where features just stopped working. I tried to reinstall but as Windows Pro was installed by Beelink, I couldn't get a license key number for the reinstall. I'm summarizing my adventure here. :) I wound up buying a copy of Windows Pro. I would suggest Beelink include the Windows licensing information either in the package or on their website but as I said, the Windows failure was likely me messing around with unsupported features, so the root cause was all me. I would also like to point out the vast array of I/O ports. Lots of USB's including 2 USB C ports. Plenty of ways to plug in multiple monitors. And they include a headphone jack, yay! I bought this mostly for emulation, and light AAA gaming. It emulates all consoles, including PS3, and Switch with zero problems, and steady 60fps on everything. In games like GTA V, I get over 100fps with settings on high. Cyberpunk at 1080p with medium settings I get 75-80fps, which surprised me. Same with titles like Miles Morales, and the first Spiderman remake. As newer games come out I will edit this post with what works, and how well it works. I received this item a day or two late due to the weather so I was already perturbed. I got the unit with 32GB RAM and a 1TB SSD (Crucial). I already had a couple of ssd's from my PC, so the first thing I did was clone the 1TB SSD that was included to a 2TB SSD. I then replaced it in the case and moved the original SSD to the empty slot above the motherboard. I then formatted the original drive after having no problem booting up from the cloned ssd. That left me with one more 1TB SSD, which I bought an external USB C enclosure for. The unit has 2 of these USB C ports available. Also included in the package are HDMI cables, but I have it hooked up via the lone DP input, which works fine. You also get a USB3 on the front and back and 2 USB2, which works fine for mouse and keyboard. Bluetooth is also included, which I am using for the Xbox controller and speakers. I'm not impressed with the range of the BT, but the WiFi6 does a pretty good job. All in all, I paid a little over $500 with the discounts and coupons, which I thought was well worth it. This mini PC keeps surprising me with the things it can do, and games it can play. If you're looking for an emulation system that can play any console you throw at it, and want to do some light-to-medium AAA gaming, you can't go wrong here. ... show more

I bought one for the office to hook up four monitors to and it worked to well, we bought it for another user and then I bought one for home as well. It has a good set of ports but at this size, requires a few adapters and hubs to get everything plugged in. There’s a bracket to mount the computer to a monitor but then it makes a hard reboot impossible as the power cable is plugged in underneath in a MagSafe type fashion. I wish they had other colors instead of this weird green but the computer is so small, it’s basically out of sight. ... show more

Ran great for 2 months, then died. I've sent an email to Customer Support, we'll see what the after sales support experience is like. They responded within a few days, with a long list of things to try... I performed a number of the steps (though their online docs do not match their shipping hardware, so had to figure-out how to disassemble it enough to reach some things)... Now though, they seem to need me to "film" myself resetting the CMOS...so I guess they think me in capable of doing it and need to see me in action to know I'm doing it correctly. Implies they're going to ask me to record all the other steps they requested as supposed proof I'm doing it right...what a pain! Total BS. I've wasted enough time with defective device and defective company... I do not recommend purchasing Beelink products if this is how they treat their customers...their warranty clearly has more limitations than they indicated. Buy something else, from a company that does not make you jump through hoops to get them to stand behind their products. ... show more

Easy painless set up just be sure to turn off your router etc.do not connect to internet before setting up the computer its real important ! it allows the computer to finish setting up os without any interference from downloads, micro soft etc. restart computer then plug in your ethernet cable turn on router if have wifi just turn on router after restarting computer. It so much better than my old google chrome box graphics are great speed is fast couldn't be happier ! I highly recommend this computer it has a Ryzen 5 16gb and i can't hear the cooling fan at all. ... show more

Bought 3x Beelink SER7 Mini PC, AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS 32GB DDR5 RAM 1TB M.2 NVME SSD back in Apr/May 2024. Have other 3 Beelink units of different models. I have been using them on my HomeLab, so they run moderate loads 24x7. Obviously not running Windows... They mostly run OK. They have medium to poor thermal dissipation. Stress-ng takes less than a second to make it reach ~94C and start thermal throttling. Out the 6 Beelink units one of the SER7 started crashing frequently circa April 2026. Memtest86+ pass. No MCE entries. Just started crashing. Deep cleaned it. No joy. Trying the latest BIOS, but hopes are low. Minus 1 star for changing what is being sold without changing the "ASAN" Minus 1 start for the crashing of 1 of 3 units Minus 1 start for the horrible chinese website to download BIOS. Post BIOS Update: BIOS Update resolved the crashing issue (plus 1 star) ... show more

To use the Adobe suite it is necessary to disable the graphic card because it is not supported. This detracts quite a bit from performance so there may be better PC options on the market if you plan to use Adobe programs with this computer.

I use this at full 65 TDP as a compile server, and run it flat out for several hours of computing time per day. Once it was clear how effective it was, I did upgrade to 64GB; only a few use cases like mine require this. Although not specified, this does run perfectly on a PS3.0 100W USB C power source, so you are not tied to the proprietary adapter. In terms of computing power per watt, and effective delivered computing power, this is probably the best you'll find in a mini pc format, and it runs quietly and cool compared to older technologies. I use this either driving 1 4k and 2 2k displays, or headless in my car as an adjunct to a laptop. It is small and portable enough that it works well in both cases.
