  • Great Hardware, but sorry OS
Set name: EQi13 13420H/16G/500G
UPDATE: Blue Iris runs fine on this box. I have 12 cameras and the CPU% never exceeds 10% even with AI turned on. One bad thing that ruins everything is that there is no way to get it to turn back on after a power loss. I looked in BIOS, but there is nothing there. I have a UPS, but it only goes about an hour and today we had a power outage lasting 62 minutes. So I had to drive all the way back just to push the power button. BeeLink should be ashamed of themselves for that one. I have also installed GPT4ALL which is an offline chatGPT program. It works, but it is a bit slow. For GPT, the 16GB RAM is a bit small and 43GB would be better. ========== The box came today and I haven't fully tested it. What I have seen of it says that it is a fast box. No problem playing youtube videos at 1080P in full screen. The biggest flaw is that it comes with Windows 11. Upon starting the box for the first time, it stops during the setup and says to enter your Microsoft Account. I don't have one and if I did, I wouldn't give them the password. It no longer has a SKIP button so you can't easily bypass it. Fortunately I found out that you can pull the power cord, then network cord and then plug it back in. This time, it will squeal for you to give it your wifi password, but I refused. It finally let me in without signing my privacy over to Microsoft. Once there, windows update worked fine. I got the box to see if it would be fast enough to run Blue Iris software. I have not yet tested that. I will write back if that does not work. This will be a Blue Iris box and I wont have to mess with the OS on a regular basis. I would not want to use Win 11 for a desktop OS. The manufacturer allows people to upgrade to Win 10. If I had to use it as a desktop, I would do that or else install MX Linux. ... show more

  • This little thing flies!
Set name: EQi13 13420H/16G/500G
My use case is that I use this PC daily for budgeting and for remoting into my PC at work. Pros: - It is very fast to boot - great multitasking capability - great support. They respond very quickly. - the bracket is easy to use and a nice bonus. - it's very quiet - great small form factor Cons: - the AUX doesn't support microphones. However, it works via the USB type C port to AUX adapter. Note: don't buy this for heavy PC gaming. The integrated GPU isn't meant for that. However this PC would be great for streaming games via Gamepass. ... show more

  • Well made
Set name: GTi15 285H/64G/1TB
Well made and quality components- both RAM and SSD are Micron. Unlike other models however, the memory slots are somewhat buried, so if you upgraded the memory or ssd on a prior model of computers from this company, doing so will be a lot harder on this one. The PCIe slot is a clever design and certainly adds versatility to such a small PC. ... show more

  • Mini Computers are just Laptop+
And that is what they are intended to be. If you plan on using this to run that new Marvel Rivals game, then you are going to be disappointed because this PC lacks the requirements to do so. I'm going to use really simple terms here so the people who aren't tech savvy understand what is happening with this PC. Because I saw a lot of reviews that mention swapping parts out or running AI... I don't do any of that. I don't really know anyone who does that. Right out of the box, there were some issues with booting up the PC. I thought they were issues with my monitor, but I swapped that out and it kept happening. The PC would 'boot up' but there wouldn't be any UI loaded other then the task bar at the bottom. Even then, it wouldn't load wifi or weather or anything else. I had to shut it down and reboot it three times in order to get to load properly and this happens every other time I turn off the PC. I recently updated all the drivers so I'm hoping that will fix it. With that being said, I can Sims 4, 3 and 2, Palia, Rimworld, Fallout 4, and Mass Effect just fine. Sims will even run on Ultra graphics with absolutely no lag. The only thing I run with mods is Rimworld and I've over 100 in the file. It runs perfectly with no issue. There is a small amount of extended boot time, but thats no issue as you can tab out and tool around on youtube while it loads. I haven't done any kind of super stress tests on it yet. Ran the Sims 4 and played some youtube videos in the background and the little box was quiet as a mouse. While my laptop would over heat and start huffing and puffing when playing ANY game, its nice to have a quiet time playing games. ... show more

  • Not good for consistent moderate loads!
When i bought this product, i wanted to use it as a home server. When i got it, i couldn't believe the build quality. The specs were good and matched what i needed. After installing it, i installed the two programs that i wanted to run off of it. One of it is a media sharing software and one is a network video recorder with 6 cameras. After doing that, this thing was maxed out. The CPU hovered around 90% screaming and media from both the NVR as well as the media software was constantly buffering and freezing. I then looked deeper into the choice of internal components and decided to upgrade the internals to two well known SSD 4TB NVMe drives and upgraded the ram to 64 GB. I Tried using server 2022 instead of windows 10 and just the same, it chocked on the tasks it was given. After additional research, the mobile processors used in these just do not have the power needed for consistent heavy loads. Needless to say, i was disappointed because the return window had already passed due to me upgrading and researching but always do you research first. I'm currently running the same gen CPU (Desktop version) and running the same applications, ranges from 20-25% usage. Although the build quality is phenomenal, and the overall look of the unit and I/O is amazing, it just cant handle moderately heavy loads. For browsing the internet, or light gaming, this will get the job done with the memory capacity it comes with, good wifi connectivity and sound quality, perhaps i just got a faulty unit but i did not want to spend the money to purchase another one and i was not able to get ahold of beelink support for a warranty of any kind. Hopefully someone and beelink sees this and can reach out to me because i was not able to get any customer support. I have purchased other beelink products (Many for that matter) and they have served me well but this unit just seems awfully underpowered considering the specs it has. Five start for build quality and looks, but two starts for the internals. ... show more

  • Poor customer service and short PC life - UPDATED with fix
Set name: EQi13 13420H/16G/500G
10/6/2025 - I am updating my review, not because Beelink support got any better, but because after a lot of effort, I found a fix to the issue. Most of the problems seem to be related to overheating. I now have 2 of the SEi12 PC's and both exhibited similar problems so I added this USB powered 120x120 "router" cooling fan with feet: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CW9H1381?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1. First, remove the bottom plate of the PC, then remove the entire panel with the small internal fan. This does mean you cannot add an SSD anymore, but that would just increase the heat issue anyway. The NVME, mobo and RAM will now be exposed to the airflow from the fan directly. Just sit the PC on top of fan, making sure the fan is blowing UP into the PC housing. They are almost the same size so this works great for me. It fixed both of my SEi12's and the fans are very quiet. Hope this helps anyone else who is having this same problem. I ordered a Beelink SEi12 through Amazon on December 29, 2022. Over a month ago the PC would no longer boot up. At first thinking the NVMe was defective, I bought a new one and installed it, however this was not the issue. I contacted Beelink support and they suggested it could either be the power supply or the motherboard. I ordered a new PS from them for $30 which took almost a month to arrive. This was not the issue either. Since the PC was out of warranty and I really can't afford to replace it right now I asked Beelink to sell me a similar unit at a discount but the best they would offer was a $10 discount which is more of an insult than a good business decision. I didn't expect this to last forever, but I do have other PC's that are over 10 years old and still working. The fact that this unit lasted only a couple of years is a big concern when money is tight. And when the company has so little regard for it's customers satisfaction made me feel that this review was necessary. BE WARY OF BEELINK before you buy one of their PC's. ... show more
