Product is from china. Stated beehive wax coated. There is no smell of beeswax. I suspect it’s not beeswax.

I really wanted to like this foundation, but unfortunately, my bees disagreed. The wax has a strange, unpleasant smell right out of the box, and the bees wouldn’t touch it for days. When they finally did start building, the comb was uneven and poorly drawn—totally wonky, especially compared to other frames in the same hive using different foundation. This just isn’t worth the hassle. Do yourself (and your bees) a favor and spend a little more on Acorn foundation. It smells clean, the bees take to it immediately, and the comb comes out straight and strong. Would not buy again. 👎🐝
