I purchased this product to remove a wasp nest located in my back yard (to avoid the quoted $460 pest control fee). The suit worked very well and I was very well protected. The suit was well manufactured and seemed high quality especially for the price point. I removed the wasp nest and amongst the 100+ wasps released only two wasps landed directly on the suit. One of them landed on the face hood but it could not get through the netting. The other wasp landed on the front leg fabric and again no sting. The suit was very protective, but warm (however it was an 80 degree day). The gloves that came with were very flexible and made for good movement. I highly recommend this product based on this experience.

I’ve been a beekeeper for seven years and this is the worst fitting suit I’ve ever owned. Three XL On their chart should fit me perfectly with lot of looseness which is Desirable. However it is way too tight around the chest which enable stings to get through The gloves barely fit my wife’s petite hands this is going back

I used to use a basic bee suit for dealing with yellowjacket nests at our house, but I wanted a better suit. This suit is the highest quality I've seen - thick mesh and very comfortable to wear. I don't know if I ever was attempted to be stung, but I felt very comfortable dealing wth this years' nest and never was stung. Plus I can wear it at halloween since it looks like a space suit!

I have an angry hive. A very very angry hive and I was so sick of getting stung or them finding their way into my suit or hood. I was also passing away from the heat in what I previously owned. This suit is super thick with well secured zippers. I've yet to be stung once in this. I was nit expecting the mesh fabric all the way through but I loved it after wearing it. It's so breathable. I can wear shorts and a tank top underneath and be free of stings at the end. I'm petite and it fits nicely. It's not too baggy or bulky. The fabric is thick. I'd definitely recommend to everyone!

Still in the getting everything we need stage. We have 2 different bee suits, this one and one that came with a bee box and tool set. This bee suit is much better quality than the one that came with the set. It's thicker, feels more durable and better quality. Fits great.

UPDATE: After a couple of months of use (I think maybe three or four separate uses) the zipper broke and a bunch of bees got in. We had to finish harvesting the honey so I duct-taped the zipper and went back out. That was when the hood zipper also broke. You have literally got to be kidding me. Why would anyone go to the bother of making a bee suit and then put weak zippers on it? If I could do zero stars I would. ORIGINAL POST: This is my first bee suit so I can't really compare but it is well made, functional, and fits well. Pretty easy to get on and off. The visibility through the hood is nice, better than my old bee hat. I used it tonight when I had to move things around in my bee boxes and made the bees mad. No stings and I felt perfectly safe. I'm 6" tall 200 lb man and it fit perfectly. Great value for the money!
