I used this on a paper towel because I don’t have a fume board, within a minute (2 at the most) all my bees were out of the super! I grabbed 5 frames to spin and then will swap them out when I pull the other 5 in a week or two. I was very happy to see the bees returning to the super just as I got my 5 frames pulled which made me feel comfortable that the scent was not too strong for them. I had no additional bees on the outside through the process or after. I will absolutely purchase again!

I built a fume board. I used 1x3 pine boards and made a square frame. I covered this with a piece of 1/2 inch plywood. I painted the top side black. I stapled a piece of a towel to the inside. I sprayed it with this stuff and put it on top of my super for 5 minutes in direct sunlight. It worked very well at clearing out my super without hurting my bees.

I have used this.product to clear my hives in the past. I don't know if the formula changed, but it was completely ineffective this time, despite adding more to my fume board. All it did was to agitate my bees :(

This product worked very well to push the bees down, out of the honey super so I could harvest. It didn't force out every single bee but it worked much better than smoking alone. I used a plastic bottom board, sprayed the product on and set it right on top of the super I wanted to empty. I also sprayed a towel with the product and used it to cover the frames while I carried the super away from the hive. This kept any lingering bees from following along. By the time I got to my garage with the honey super, there were Zero bees in the box (or nearby at all).
