TSC is a level-dependent technology that uses omni-directional microphones to allow safe sounds to actively pass through the product while blocking harmful gunshot noise. Great Fit! All Day Battery! 2 levels of Sound Suppression!
I've been using these for two weeks now and I'm glad to find ear pro that can keep up! As a 3-gun shooter and match director I wanted ear pro that was secure, comfortable, wireless, could protect well enough with my competition rifle (with muzzle break), and play music/take phone calls while doing match setup and stage reset. These deliver!! I was also excited to discover they have two levels of impact noise suppression. Slower fire allows safe sound to still be heard, like shooting rifle steel at distance, while faster fire completely cuts out loud noise, like shooting a plate rack with my pistol. These react to the specific hearing needs of the situation and either limit noise in short bursts, or completely cut out all noise in continuous fire arrays. Recovery is fast in either case, so I can still hear what I need to, but avoid what I don't. Being in competition, I'm usually wearing ear pro for 6-12 hours at a time. Having a device that can protect when I'm the shooter, but also play music when I'm just resetting is a game changer. It's only been a few weeks but I've never had the battery die, even when used for 11 hours straight. Getting a good fit is not too bad, as long as I get these seated all the way into my ear. Inserting into my ear and then rotating down they seem to lock in place. I think some reviews about low volume and bad protection are probably not seating these as recommended. The max volume is almost too loud when inserted correctly, and 7 different sizes of ear tips made it easy to get a good sound seal. The touch pad took a little getting used to but I'm pretty good at it now. I can use Siri to make phone calls without getting my phone out. I wish they worked better with gloves, but that's another story. I also like that they automatically pair with my phone after the initial setup. Synopsis: Ultra secure, great audio quality, unique sound suppression, great price, and super long battery life make these a solid choice for those that shoot a lot!

Delicate, good idea, badly built, electronics failed in a calendar year
This is an update. The short paragraph directly below is the most recent, below that is the original review. The earbud Bluetooth connectivity has entirely died within a calendar year. It will connect to nothing. This pair of ear buds was hundreds of dollars but could not last as long as a $45 pair. These are a bad value, they lack durability or longevity. -------- Original review --------- The sound blocking is not really adequate for indoor shooting, even with the best fitting pads. This is also a badly made product. These lasted 8-9 months, but in that time the exterior finish is warping away, the lid has become broken from the charging case, something inside has broken and rattles now, the foam ear inserts don't stay on the pegs whenever you pull them off of the charger or out of your ear consistently. Initially, I assumed it was my fault. I started cleaning the charging case thoroughly, my ears thoroughly and the foam pads thoroughly. After 3 months of this, the situation has not changed. Also, the sound quality has deterioriated and there is a consistent buzzing in the left bud. The noise canceling has become very spotty and makes it impractical unless the environment is very quiet. On the plus side, the buds usually connect well and have a strong range. The charge is reasonable and it recharges quickly. I would not recommend this unless it is solely for temporary use and you don't mind blowing the money

Is as advertised
I just received these ear buds and so far so good. However, the provided instructions are terrible. First off I think the "Quick Start Guide" directions need significant work. The instructions are a series of 5 pictures and/or instructions that really don't tell you much other than the1st, 4th and 5th pic. First pic illustrates the contents (which you can confirm you have evertything). The 2nd pic illustrates the case, opened and what the four indicator lights represent (assuming you new they were indictaor lights) and not to exceed 5v charging. Other than that, nothing about how and/or when you charge and what you're charging or anything else about the case functions. The 3rd pic is in regards to pairing. With some thought you can figure out to pair, you at least need to turn blowtooth on in your phone settings and then select ISOtunes sport caliber BT. The 4th is titled "Functions". Never having ear buds I wasn't sure what was really going on other than a statement on the bottom of this page says "AutoPower ON". The 5th pic is a scan code for ISOtunes manuals. There is a manual include in the packaging but I wasn't able to read the small print. I used the scan code and was able to access the manual and blow it up so it was readible. That said the short manual as accessed has a lot to be desired. I still was not able to operate the package products. It came in handy regarding ear tip recommendation, maintenance of the package items and some other details. Theres no way your going to be able to pair the ear buds to your phone with these instructions. Nor will you be able to operate/use these buds with this short manual. That said, this short manual refers you yet to another manual that can be accessed online. This online manual gives specifics as to how the complete item operates and additional info. YOU WILL NEED THIS ONLINE MANUAL TO OPERATE THIS PRODUCT!!! Regarding the product itself. I've charged the case and batteries as instructed and all worked as advertised. I ended up using one of the longer soft ear pieces and sometimes have to giggle the buds to get the correct light indication on the buds them selves. I've used all the functions of the left ear bud and all works as advertised. The request to pair is obvious as directed through the buds and pairing was no problem. I don't plan on using the pairing function so I didn't try any of the right ear bud functions regarding that function. Turning volume up and down is as advertised as is powering both ear buds off and back on. Firing a hand gun to confirm TSC (Tactical Sound Control) is as advertised. So far so good. Other than getting to the actual operating/maintenace instructions, so far so good.

Snow blowing, Mowing and Shooting
So I bought these for 2 things. To wear hunting because I shoot out of a blind and for blowing snow and mowing grass. It does raise or amplify background noise while sitting in a blind. It can be a little overwhelming because the white noise can start to get to you after a while. But it works. For mowing and snow blowing they are fantastic. But when the mower stops it has a hard time knowing when it should start and stop the amplification. And things like closing doors or making noise causes it to suppress and un-suppress the noises which can be annoying too. So comparing it to walker over the ear headphones, the walkers do a better job as they better even out the experience. But if you want to wear a stocking cap in the winter or it is hot outside or have trouble getting that cheek weld on your rifle with over the ear protection, the ISOtunes are a good option. For fit, they are a little uncomfortable for me. I have small ear canals, and the smallest buds are a challenge to use. These are not for everyone, but I will be keeping them for those times the over the ear protection is a challenge.

Order These - Your Ears Will Thank Me
OMG. Buy these. I’ve literally tried ALL the hearing protection products on the market (GloryFire, Bose, Tozo). Nothing good enough. So I just went to an Audiologist (Dr Peshwani in Dallas) who did custom ear molds and sold me on Westone DigitalDX5 ($2,000), advertised with Bluetooth connectivity. Took 2 weeks to get them. Perfect fit. But BLUETOOTH was another $400 ‘add-on’ requiring a goofy-ass neck loop and controls. So frustrating. So, I’ve literally this week - returned the Westone custom rip-offs (false marketing on Bluetooth!), and tried these ISO Tunes. They came overnight. $170. Tried a few of ear plugs provided until I found a very snug, comfortable fit, and they are AMAZING!! Took 1 minute to sync with Bluetooth. Noise cancellation is immediate. So I can hear well with them in; can take clear calls - even outside; and can be listening to my tunes all at the same time. I don’t work or really care about all these other companies hawking hearing protection - but these are truly wonderful. And if I’m wrong, they take returns with 100% refund! (Unlike Westone scam-artists who were going to charge me 15% restocking fee even though the ‘Bluetooth Compatible’ claim required AN ADDITIONAL $400. Don’t worry - I got the full $2,000 refund). If you need excellent hearing protection, customizable fit, with active listening, noise cancellation, and Bluetooth connectivity, this is your product. Already tried the ‘shooting range’ experience and they live up to their 26 decibel rating. Order these now.

Do not buy
For $180 headphones these things suck. I've had them less than 2 years and they completely stopped working. There are no physical buttons and the touch sensor to change settings is not consistent so you end up playing around with them which is very annoying. Cannot be used with gloves on or if your hands have any moisture at all. These are sold at shooting headphones but they are built for someone trying to tune out office noise. Very light weight cheap build quality, less than 2 years of normal use is horrible for something with a luxury price tag.

Love it!
These are nothing short of amazing! The amplification is very good, some white noise, but minimal to my ears. The noise canceling is absolutely incredible! I was in the range with my .338 Lapua and they cut the noise very well! This would normally leave you with earaches for days. The fit and good assortment or rubber ear pieces to accommodate most ears were easy to swap out to find the right fit for me. The play time is also excellent! I think my longest session is 5-6 hours and normally run about 3-4 hours almost daily for two months and they are holding up quite well. All that to say, money well spent, extremely happy customer!

A Major Drawback
Bought these to replace another set or shooting ear pro (different brand) that failed. I used these for a week long shooting class. It took some extra to get the right sized ear cushion. One was too large and after just a short time caused so much discomfort that I had to stop using them. After changing the cushions, they became more comfortable. The biggest downside, and this is major, was wind noise. These failed to stop wind noise and in fact actually amplified it. This caused issues as I was unable to hear range commands. I guess these might work better when I am at my local range and there is no wind.
