I needed a smaller throw blanket to cover up with at night when I get chilly. I saw the reviews on this one and I couldn't resist trying it out. First, I love the color - Sage Green (White on the other side) - it matches my bedspread perfectly. The striped pattern is really pretty. It's going to be great because I have a dog that likes to get on our bed, so I have to wash my bedding regularly. I wanted something I could leave at the end of the bed, and this looks beautiful! As soon as I got it, I washed it on the delicate cycle in cold water. I even put it in the dryer on the low setting to get any lint off of it and it had none! And it didn't shrink at all!
