This Bedsure throw hits the sweet spot between decorative and functional. The checkerboard pattern looks stylish on a couch or bed, and the pink shade is true to the photos - not too bright or pastel. Both sides are genuinely usable - the knit side adds visual interest while the plush reverse side is incredibly soft. Machine washes surprisingly well for a fuzzy blanket. No shedding issues after multiple washes, and it comes out just as soft. The 50x60 size works perfectly for couch snuggling or as an extra layer on a bed, though tall people might want something longer for full coverage. The weight is ideal for year-round use - substantial enough to feel cozy but not so heavy it makes you overheat. It's also thin enough to fold up compactly for storage, unlike some bulkier throws. One tip: wash it separately the first time as there can be some initial color transfer. Also, while it's reasonably durable, the decorative knit side can snag if you have rough jewelry or velcro nearby. When the blanket first arrived, it was vacuum sealed and I didn’t have high hopes for it. After cutting it open and shaking it out, the blanket was really soft. It has a lighter feel to it, not very heavy, but it keeps me very warm. I love the neutral tone and the size is generous.
