Although I understand it, I've come to think of my new blanket as magical. As soon as it came out of the package, it was cool to the touch. The weave is unusual. I could understand the less than positive revues I saw in this regard and found myself wondering if I was going to keep it. With that in mind, I didn't get into the bed that night, but rather I slept on top of everything already there and under the "cooling blanket". I was so cool all night that I didn't notice a curtailment, and I had Alexa adjust the thermostat up a degree. The second night was the same as the first. I knew I had to stop messing around, so I got between the sheets the third night. At that point I understood how it worked and the reviews I'd read. Yes, the material was cool. The unusual weave allowed the air from the fan and a/c to reach me which didn't happen under any other blanket I'd used. The bamboo sheets on the bed then worked reasonably well with it and I spent two nights with them before changing the bed. That was another test, those sheets were cotton. I wound up getting on top of the sheets again because that sheet blocked the cool air. The thermostat is now set two degrees higher than it had been and I'm more comfortable than before. I'll give other sheets a "test night", but I suspect the results will be similar and that for the duration I'll be sleeping with just the blanket over me.

We needed a blanket for the hot summer nights so I took a chance on this one after reading reviews and I am so glad I did! First: Size- I originally ordered a king size for our king size bed, fit, but a little small so I ordered a 2nd one in the oversized king size, and it is amazing! Perfect for a king size bed! ( loved the blanket so much just kept the king size as an extra blanket or will use it in the winter to double up on my side of the bed) Second: Comfortability- I love the feel of this blanket! Its soft and cozy. I was worried it wouldn't weigh enough (I like to feel the weight of a comforter at night), but I have had no issues with how it feels. My husband sleeps super hot and this keeps me warm enough and him cool enough at night. Highly recommend this one! Lots of colors to choose from, I love the green I chose!

**JUST BUY IT** There is a reason there are so many positive reviews. :) I purchased one of these blankets roughly a year ago. Not only did it serve its intended purposes as a lightweight blanket should, but its durability is astoundingly superior to other blankets. It remains to be soft and has not faded or shrunk over time. As a result of its prolonged and consistent use, including durability after dozens of wash cycles, I just had to buy another one. One point of clarification for those who are looking for a "cooling" blanket.... This blanket does not cool me down because it has some magical powers; it's cooling in the sense that its lightweight and breathable. SIDE NOTE: I nearly always refuse to pay full price for things and have bought this blanket only when on sale. That being said, it's something that I probably would buy at full price if I just had to have it in that moment.

Let me start by saying how much I LOVE this blanket! I'm a hot sleeper, like wake up drenched in sweat kind of hot. In the winter, I can just let the house get nice and cool and still use a big fluffy cloud-like duvet, but in the summer I can't cool the house to 65°, and had been having a hard time finding a blanket that kept me cool enough. This is it -- this blanket is perfect! Is so breathable you can feel the breeze from the fan through the blanket! It doesn't trap heat at all. It's wonderful! Unfortunately, I have 4 pets, 2 are dogs, and I love letting my pets in bed with me. When I first opened this and felt the fabric myself, I had a feeling durability with pets was going to be an issue, and sure enough, it's only been about a month and there's already a huge hole where I assume either a pet kneaded the blanket, or got a nail really stuck in it, or something. As much as I love this blanket, I will not be replacing it with the same blanket and will be trying out a different style that looks a bit more durable, and HOPEFULLY just as breathable.

I've been looking for a waffle blanket that didn't make me hot at night for what feels like years. I have a handful of different brands that are all thin, but the soft ones were too hot and the thin ones weren't soft enough. This blanket is wildly perfect. It almost has a cooling effect to it so I'm never hot at night. It pairs perfect under my comforter and is so incredibly soft. Since I've bought it about a month ago, I've had two family members buy themselves one because they love mine so much. I HIGHLY recommend this blanket!

I live in California and the weather right now is HORRIBLE since it’s summer, getting easily into the 90’ and 100’s. At night time when it’s in the high 80’s it doesn’t help much since everything is still in the process of cooling down. But after that and it gets to the mid and low 80’s it starts to get better and will be a very good blanket. It keeps me warm yet airs out enough to be cool too. Regulates temperature nicely, the color is fine, it hasn’t ripped or torn yet, fits my bed and myself perfectly fine.

Where to start - This blanket checks every box for an every day, every night blanket. Probably wouldn’t use it as the top/decorative blanket, though you could, but it is perfect in every other way. I have tried many “oversized“ blankets but none have ever been this large. It’s great for two people in a king size bed to each have plenty of blanket. It’s also perfect if you’re a hot sleeper, it’s lightweight and looks and feels very quality and soft. I highly recommend this blanket.

I ordered this because I get really hot while I sleep but I cannot sleep without a blanket. This blanket is really pretty and soft. It has enough weight to provide the comfort of feeling covered but light enough to keep you cool. Sometimes I do get a little cold when the AC is on but it’s big enough to fold in half so I’ll just fold it and cover myself with the 2 layers and that works fine. Really good for the price if you ask me :-)
