I like a warm room when I sleep...I hate the feeling of blankets and sheets weighing me down. I feel like I'm suffocating.. Pj's normally are just enough. But in the summer with the AC on, I need just a little warmth and this blanket is perfect. Ironically I'm also a hot sleeper...once a I fall asleep I sweat sometimes but never with this blanket. If you're a weird sleeper like me that hates blankets but does sweat when asleep, I swear by bamboo sheets, bamboo pajamas, bamboo mattress protector....eliminated about 80 percent of night sweats. Bamboo blanket for a bit more warmth in the winter.

Finally, a “summer” blanket i don’t have to return. 😱. Live in South Florida - atlantic side - and a top sheet i am too cold, and a number of “summer” comforters are just too warm. For context, we keep the A/C at 77 to 78 - comfortable for this florida native. I truly love this - 100% cotton [i am old i don’t like synthetic materials] and thin enough to be “just right” for me at night. I looked at my watch sleep data - way less movement. Because i wasn’t moving the comforter/blanket on and off several times a night. Is it attractive? Ummm, No. I can throw a floral “summer” comforter over it if guests are over and i want the bed to look better than bland? Yep i can. The rest of the time? This is the only thing on my bed. and i know muslim - the more it gets washed over time, the even softer it gets. and its pretty soft already. val
