Too salty

I have gifted several hams from Burgers Smokehouse and only recently did I order one for myself to serve at Thanksgiving. I am very happy I tasted before serving. I am very disappointed in this ham. It is the sliced country ham smoked and it is salty, way too salty. I will say it was trimmed impeccably. Sad to say its going to be the most expensive ham salad I've ever made. Perhaps this was an aberration. The recipients of the gifted hams always told us they were very good. I guess its back to Honey Baked hams for me. Denise
