Great mattress at a great price. My boyfriends son got a new bedroom built for him during the renovation and I thought it would be a great time to get him a new bed. Something bigger so he has plenty of time to grow into it. He is 7 years old. I will say it is very very comfortable. I've almost fell asleep up in his room with him after I've read to him or snuggled. It is really firm but not in an uncomfortable way. It's just very supportive. If you're wanting something wildly soft or lofty this isn't it. I didn't notice a particular smell like other bed in a boxes we've gotten. We did let it air out and take it's full shape for about 3 days but not because of an odor or anything, just had the time so we let it be. I wouldn't say it holds heat terribly but it's doesn't sleep too cool either just right there in the middle. Overall it's a great mattress and I would recommend it if you want something on the firmer side that's supportive and comfortable. ... show more

This mattress is an amazing value and super quality! When it was delivered I was certain it would take a long time to puff out because it was such a small box! But it was so heavy! Be prepared to have two people to move the box! The mattress was easy to unpack. We did unpack it directly in the new bed frame and that did make the whole process so much easier. Anyway, once we unpacked it the mattress immediately started to expand. There was no unpleasant smell (which had been something folks warned me about with a. Memory foam mattress) and it expanded over two days to finally be fully expanded. We did out the sheets in right away and it was a good way to monitor the expansion progress. The edges of the mattress are good and I don’t have any issues with them sloping off or not being supportive when you are getting off the bed. After the mattress was fully expanded it is quite firm! It is such a comfortable mattress. My daughter loves her sleep at night on this and feels like this mattress has upgraded her nighttime. This is a great value and well worth it! I read somewhere that it may take up to 72 hours for the bed to expand. That's not the case. After removing it from the wrapper, the bed had expanded to over 10" thickness. Mine is a 12" thick bed so it still needs to expand more, but you don't need to wait before using it. I was also a little concerned about any chemical smell. No need to worry about that either. I couldn't detect any smell. And as far as how it feels? Well, although this is memory foam, it supports you very well at the same time as being a medium softness. Long term it's hard to tell if it will keep it's shape, but first impressions are that this is just as good as other beds that don't come in a roll. This comes in a 60lb box, so be ready to lug around your bed and get help to unpack it to make it easier. This is a nice and comfortable bed that is well worth the listing price. ... show more

Got this for my 15 y/o daughter and... well, it's amazing! Her sleep has improved ten fold and she's much happier as a result. The quality is just absolutely superb. It fit on the full size platform I got her and it's very soft while maintaining stability for support. The memory foam is an added luxury while the color scheme really makes it pop. It's a beautiful design and full of flare. Overall I highly recommend this bed it is a solid 10 out of 10. If you're interested but second guessing, go ahead and buy it, you won't be disappointed. It's also really convenient the way it arrives in a box. It can fit in any room with any dimension, while in the box. Once it unfolds and decompresses, that may be a different story. Our son just moved up to a full size bed and we were in need of a mattress...this is exactly what we were looking for. I laid on it for a while and I can definitely say it's more for a firm sleeper than someone looking for a plush "sink into the mattress" type feeling. Our son has been sleeping on it for about a week now and he is absolutely loving it! I have purchased other memory foam mattresses in the past and the smell from some of them when unpackaging has been horrific....this isn't the case with this mattress. In fact, I didn't really smell anything when unpackaging it! FYI - It is HEAVY so be prepared to have a helping hand to get it up any stairs. ... show more

Ok, I’ve had this bad boy on the bed for 4 nights and let me tell you…. It’s the BEST mattress I’ve had in decades. Better than my super expensive ones. If you like firm yet still squishy on top, you’ll like it. I’m a super hot sleeper and so is my son (he’s 5 and still sleeps with me). Our last memory foam mattress absorbed so much heat. This one never gets too hot!! It’s temperature-regulating, in a way. I’m never too cold, never too hot. This thing expanded immediately when I broke open the plastic. They said it’ll take 48 hours to reach full height, but I slept on it the same night. Opened it around lunchtime and it was perfect within minutes! It has a nice dark cover on it, but I still put a waterproof mattress protector on. My normal sheets and protector fit great because they have deep pockets. It’s TALL. Very tall. I don’t mind it, but my son fell off for the first time in years. It was a loud thud. He’s fine…. But now I have a bumper on that side! Buy it!!! Totally worth it. 🛌 ... show more
