So from the pictures, you can see my son had a very low bed platform bed with wooden slats. 6.5 inches off the floor and he is 6 foot tall. I read somewhere your bed should be adequate to your height to help you get better rest and help get out of bed in the morning. When I told *My son* I was buying him a taller bed he didn’t care he just said he didn’t want metal because it would squeak. After reading reviews I bought this one anyway and I have to say it’s very sturdy. He’s a 19-year-old boy and he’s a tosser and he works out so he’s solid. There is no noise level at all. I made sure of that. The storage space is a real plus! I bought nice storage boxes where he can keep his bed linens instead of taking up space in my linen closet. It was so very easy to assemble. Took me 30mins max. The instructions are very basic. Each piece is labeled. I put it together by myself. I’m a single mom. I would recommend getting a mallet when putting the slats in. It’s a nice sturdy weight. I’m very happy with this purchase. And He’s happy with it. He didn’t even know he needed it, but he said it has made a difference in him getting up in the morning and being more motivated to clean his room. And he's now eye level with his TV. Another awesome thing is you can use your headboard and your footboard. There’s holes that you can attach whatever you want to it. And because I was writing this review and it’s been 4 days since assembly, I just went and bounced and rocked a little bit. The frame didn’t budge. The headboard didn’t bang against the wall. It didn’t move at all. For referenceI’m 175lbs. My son is 195. One small detail I’d like to mention, I picked this setup was because it had the mattress slider blockers. But…They’re plastic, which is kind of weird because the bed is metal. We’ve had a problem in the past with his mattress sliding off because he plays his Xbox at the edge of his bed, so I wonder how long they’ll last to being plastic. Also only 6 came with it. I would have appreciated 8. I had to focus more towards the end of the bed. I placed 2 at the foot and 2 on each side toward the bottom half of the mattress. Also I just noticed 3 of the mattress sliders were on the floor. I pop off really easy . But the mattress hasn’t slipped. I have to say it’s a good purchase. I would definitely recommend it. I’m not going to deduct any stars for the mattress sliders because the mattress hasn’t slid and I can tell he’s been sitting at the edge of his bed. A excellent purchase! ... show more

Got this for my daughters apartment. We bought the queen size. It was relatively easy to put together it just took a little longer than expected. It's perfect for her apartment and we are very pleased with the height which gives her some additional storage under her bed

Easy or one person to put together but will go faster with two. Seems sturdy and legs are solid. Queen mattress fits perfectly. The side anti-slip devices are a plus although I wish they were in metal, might be hard to manipulate though. Will purchase again if I need a need another frame!
