The overall construction is very durable and strong. Being used to keep 6-year-old in twin size bed. As they still roll around as a smaller child would during sleep. It is easy to click up and down. Not just for toddlers! One of my dogs fell off my bed in the middle of the night and hurt herself. The next day, I ordered this safety rail and it's exactly what I needed. A little challenging for one person to set up with a king size bed but for twin or full beds, it would be a snap. It's quite sturdy and runs along the whole side of my king size bed. Love these! Durable and easy to install! I have one on my queen bed for 9 month old who sleeps with us. And another for her bed, for her daytime naps. We are in a transition period, so needed two. I bought the exact same one that I have on my queen bed, and it fits the baby bed too. Plus, they easy lower to put baby into bed, then securely and quietly lock into place!
