I like how soft and cozy this is. It is really pretty too. It does get warm but not hot. If that's what you want then this could be for you. However I have had heated blankets in the past that have gotten hotter than this.

I was hesitant to order this blanket because of some of the reviews, but I loved the style and color in comparison to other Amazon options so I thought I'd give it a try. To give a little background, I am a Texan, born and raised, who recently moved to WA state. I was clearly not prepared for the weather difference, and constantly find myself freezing cold even with my heater blasting. I WAS NOT MADE TO FUNCTiON IN THESE CONDITIONS. No need to fret though y'all there's a happy ending to this story. I ordered this blanket about a week ago and I am totally and undeniably IN LOVE with this thing. It is soft and keeps me incredibly warm. Some have complained about being able to feel the wires. Yes, I can feel them. Does it make me horribly uncomfortable? Absolutely not. I'm so warm and cozy, I couldn't care less. There is even heat throughout the blanket, the controls work well, and there is a very distinct difference between all three heat settings (but I prefer high because if you didn't get it already, I do not like being cold!). I haven't had to use my heater at all since I got this blanket, so I'm assuming my electricity bill is going to decrease quite a bit as well. As for size, it does run a bit small, but it covers my whole body so I have zero complaints. Overall, I haven't had any problems, and plan on updating the review in another couple of months just for follow up. I was looking for a replacement for a sunbeam electric blanket I've had that eventually died. I wanted something soft and attractive without sherpa and bigger than the throws at 50x60. I like the feel and look of this a lot. But it's SUPER thin. I knew it was going to be thinner than my old one but it's too thin for my liking. The electric wiring is pretty far removed from the edges too so do don't benefit from any warmth there, which makes the useable size less. If it were thicker it wouldn't matter. Also there are only three settings and the first is hardly noticeable so there's that. So it's fine. I don't think I'd buy it again. ... show more

Received as a gift but Not liking the placement of the cord at the bottom.. where you can’t reach. It is being sold as throw,, but many use it as a bed blanket and it’s not convenient to have to reach down to adjust the heat. Best if the cord was on the right side closer to where the plug usually is by the head of the bed.. no wall plugs in the middle of the room. And 6 feet to short to reach the wall..Nor the fact that it turns off after two hours only. My heating pad gives the option to leave it on. I’ll try for two weeks and see if I like it or not. This throw is soft and pretty, a little lighter than the last Beautyrest throw I purchased last year. But both have had problems with the control turning off and blinking. You can’t turn it back on without resetting it by unplugging it every time this happens. Wasn’t able to return as I had already thrown away packaging. Be sure to keep your packaging for several weeks until you know whether this will be a problem for you. ... show more

As someone who gets cold easily this was a literal game changer. this blanket got me through the winter and I actually saved a lot of money by not having to turn on my heater since having it. Has 3 heat settings and the highest one will actually make you hot on the coldest day!
