My only complaint is that in the middle of the blanket where the two sides join there is a gap in the heat distribution. They are apparently not connected or set close enough to each other to heat the very center. Not a big deal, but I noticed. The blanket is beautiful however. This is a very nice blanket you don't have to put a top blanket on it to keep the heat in you stay warm without it! It's very soft and it's lightweight it don't kill your feet. The controls are very nice and I think they're updated very well with the electronics.

It feels very nice, it is rather heavy but I like that. For the first time in my long life I have followed instructions to NOT sandwich the cord under the mattress, and things are staying tucked in just fine at the unwired corners. The control unit is the most sensible design yet and it IS able to be used by touch, not sight, although I wish the on/off button was a little more distinctive to the touch than the others. Maybe it should be the one at the edge. But that is a small point. I have only had it for a couple of weeks but so far I consider it to be just fine. I’ve used this blanket now for two winter seasons and I love it. I am cold natured so it’s been a life saver. Both sides heat evenly, the sleep timer and temperature control is easy to use, the fabric is soft and comfy, and the ability to machine wash is a plus. I’ll turn it on about 10-20 minutes before I get into bed so the entire bed is warm when I do get in. The only annoying thing is the cords are really long and heavy so it pulls the blanket at the foot if you move in your sleep, but it’s not a deal breaker. ... show more

The controllers work very well on this blanket, and the broad range of settings makes it quite convenient to get the temperature you're looking for. The problem is the material that this blanket is made out of is slicker than it should be, so much so that any blanket laid on top of this will be on the floor by the next morning.     • Surprised it doesn't slide off the bed

The fabric is cozy and the blanket is special. It's special because it doesn't slide off the bed like other brands. Every other electric blanket brand I've had slide off the bed due to slippery fabric. The blanket heats well. I have owned 4 different brands but this is absolutely the best.
