I use this all the time, wish there was a large version to cover my entire queen size bed. Edit: bought this in Dec 2016, as of Feb 2021 it has finally died on me. I plan to do some shopping for a bit bigger this time around. I saw some bad reviews, but willing to bet they didn't follow the instructions. It explains clearly the draw backs of the cord and label section being fragile. Then others mention it dying within the warranty. The material is extremely soft and fur like. The blanket is rather thin and you can feel the heating wires, but it's not bad. It's perfect to cozy up on the couch with your pet. I haven't washed it yet, but I think it will hold up well. If not, I'll send an update. Update: It's basically a beautiful, warm, but DISPOSABLE electric blanket. I've had it less than a year and it just quit working. I've used it during one light winter (Dec-Mar) and washed it. I went to take it out of storage and the lights just blink and it won't heat up. I've tried different plugs, plugging, and unplugging. It's a waste of money. Buyer beware. ... show more
