So my husband and I decided to buy the Beautyrest Queen Extra Firm, and it has truly changed everything. It took about 1–2 weeks to arrive, and we paid for the white glove delivery service since we live on the 3rd floor. The two delivery guys did a great job bringing it up and setting it up in our bedroom. Now, after a full month of using it, I can confidently say: this mattress is amazing! It’s strong, supportive, and exactly what my body needed. The edges are super firm — I can sit comfortably on the side to fold clothes without sinking in. Getting in and out of bed is effortless. I’m a very happy pregnant woman now — no more pain! My husband can sleep on anything, but even he admitted this mattress has great back support and really holds the body well. ... show more

This is as stated; it is extra firm. A little too firm for me, which is what I wanted for my back, but I also sleep on my side and it's too firm for that, so I added a memory foam topper and that helped a lot. So, all in all it's not a bad mattress. The price fluctuates a lot between 730-980 and was 560 during prime days. I got it for 734, so not a bad price, then I got 50. off of that so I paid 729. with tax. So, for that price it's good, because it's so firm I think it will last many years. There's not a lot of foam padding to sink when the foam padding breaks down because that can develop a hole in softer mattresses. There was zero odor, and loved that it didn't come in a box, so NO waiting 24-48 hrs for it to decompress. Delivery was great, they delivered, unboxed, placed the mattress and then hauled away all the trash and the old mattress and that service was free, can't beat that for this price. That service is usually 79. on amazon. It can be as much as 150 other places so all in all it was a good experience, delivery guys were great and everything was done within 10 mins. ... show more

Definitely a firm mattress and should only be used for true back sleepers. Amazing for lower back pain and weak necks. Does not come in a vacuum box like the other flimsy box mattresses. This comes off a truck and in a full sized box. Unfortunately my partner is not a back sleepers
