I had a trimmer like this one from a different company. I loved that trimmer. One day I dropped it. It hit the floor and separated into two pieces. I assumed it would fit right back together and be as good as new. Nope. It was ruined. Do not drop these trimmers, you cannot put them back together again and have them still work. So I learned my lesson. The brand I liked was no longer available. This clipper looked comparable. While I don't like it as much as the one I broke it is adequate for my needs. The other clipper trimmed my beard really closely. This one is not as close in the trimming and it seems to catch on my beard no matter how well I lubricate the blades. But I am still happy with it. It is solid and quick when I need a fast trim and I don't have time to actually lather up and shave with the trusty safety razor. And I am treating it like a baby. No dropping this trimmer. I Love these liner clippers with guards. They do give a nice clean close cut. I main shave with them every 3 days. They keep a really good strong charge. The guards is a major plus to mange my facial hair.

The money that I saved at the barber shop during the first month has already paid for this item. Super easy to use and cleans up like a charm . Blades are as sharp today as the first time I used this device. Tempted to buy another before the price goes up.
