I've been looking to purchase a pour-over coffee carafe for a while now, but couldn't justify purchasing one until my old coffee maker broke. I was also looking avoid having to purchase coffee filters all of the time, and wanted better tasting coffee, that didn't require electricity to brew - all while looking beautiful on my counter space. After searching on Amazon, Bean Envy's pour-over coffee maker fit the bill. The most important prerequisite for me was to purchase one with a durable reusable filter that worked properly — meaning, I wouldn't get coffee grounds migrating into my cup of coffee, and that didn't look or feel flimsy. I read so many reviews related to other similar coffee makers where these were issues. Bean Envy's pour-over coffee maker really works the way its supposed to. Not only do the coffee grounds remain in the filter, this unit works perfectly. The reasons I love Bean Envy's pour-over coffee maker are: ⁃ The silicone pad on the bottom of the carafe. ⁃ A durable coffee filter that keeps grounds in the filter. ⁃ An actual handle on the carafe. ⁃ Both carafe and filter are easy to clean and maintain. After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned about how slowly the brewed coffee came through the filter, however, I have never had that problem at all. I can't understand why some stated as such because Bean Envy's filter works just fine. The one thing I truly recommend to those who get coffee maker is that they thoroughly read through the entire instructional booklet that comes with the coffeemaker. It explains what you need to know to brew a great cup of coffee, in addition to cleaning and maintaining the coffee maker. I love this thing! I look forward to making my coffee each morning. I've been enjoying the best coffee I've ever brewed, and cleanup is quick. This is absolutely one of the best purchases I've made in quite a long time! I truly recommend this coffee maker!

I got away from "gourmet" coffee for awhile but I was gifted some really good beans. So, I dusted off the grinder and ordered this work of art. Once again, I'm that annoying coffee guy who weighs the beans and water but the end result is an awesome cup of coffee. This product drains well and is easy to clean but its easier if you have a brush that can reach inside. I'm happy with how it looks and performs.

This has got to be the best little, reasonably priced coffee bloomer I've ever purchased. It is very easy to use, no leakage, and the cup capacity is perfect for 2-4 cups of coffee at a time. Worth the money, and enjoyable to use. The only thing is the little black thumb gripper on the funnel comes off sometimes. This is an easy fix for me, has nothing to do with the ease of use, and durability of the actual glass.

This is my second purchase of the Bean Envy pour over. I have been using mine for a couple of years and really love it, so I purchased another one for my friend. It’s super easy to use and clean up, and in my opinion, makes my morning coffee taste fresher/cleaner than when I use a traditional coffee maker or single cup brewer machine. The carafe is sturdy, and keeps the coffee at a good temperature for me. The filter is easy to clean and maintain, and I do not get any coffee residue in my cup. The cup markings on the side of the carafe are 6oz each, so I usually brew to the 2 cup mark for a standard size cup, or to the 3 cup mark to fill my commuter. I really like the Bean Envy pour over, and thats why I bought one for my friend. It’s an excellent value for the price, and I would definitely recommend and buy again. Hope this helps!

I was a habitual user of a french press/cafetiere. I changed to a pur over coffee maker because I found that I was getting too many coffee grounds in the coffee and as I get older these don't always agree with me. I drink coffee out of a mug and not a cup and if I want two mugs of coffee I need an 18 - 20 oz jug. This doesn't seem to be a common size and so I was glad to find this Bean envy unit. The jug is borosilicate and will not break if near boiling water is put into it. The filter and filter carrier are stainless steel. The quality is good and the silicone pad on the bottom can be removed for dishwashing. For a given coffee bean and roast the coffee is smoother than it would be from my cafetiere. The filtering is effective but not perfect. A filter paper would be better but for the wat I drink coffee the pour over filter works very well. I'm enjoying the coffee ;-) Is it perfect? Not quite. I wish I knew if I could put the filter assembly in the dishwasher. I always hand wash it but a zap in a dishwasher once in a while would be nice. The quality of the jug is very good. I just wish this was supplied with a "lid" so that I could keep the coffee in the pot warm so that the second mug is hot. Leaving the jug open cools the coffee too much. Putting the filter assembly back on is a bodge which works but I think I'm going to end up cutting a "cork" to size to supply a lid. In the end I have no real complaints. It's good quality, makes good coffee and is easy to use and clean: highly recommended.

Style: Pour Over Coffee Maker
There is very little not to love about this coffee maker and I am now writing this review after using it almost every single day since June 2020. Cleaning Very easy to clean as the glass is super high quality and a simple hand wash with soapy water works really well for normal use. Even after months and months and months of use their was no staining on the inside or fading of the measurement marks The filter is similarly easy to clean and we ran ours through the dishwasher every third or fourth use with no issues and had no clogging or slowing of pour through. The filter also has shown zero sign of rust with very little maintenance aside from rinsing it out with warm water and air drying when done. Coffee Quality I found that using about 4-5 scoops with the included scooper made a very nice and not too strong brew and when filled past the top mark would often yield several cups. Often when brewing for me and my partner we would pour over with this amount of coffee until it reaches the filter and then finish the pour while holding the filter above the rising coffee. The filter added no taste and with the included silicon base it often stayed quite warm for about an hour while siting out. Warranty The warranty was very easy to use as we found out when the glass was unfortunately damaged and we reached out via email. They very quickly shipped out a replacement unit at no cost to us with no questions asked and were very friendly when contacted via email. Complaints Don't really have any aside from perhaps the handle on the filter being a bit small? Might just be that I have hands on the larger side. Otherwise no real issues in any other aspect of use or care. Overall would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a solid, dependable and very nice looking pour over kit.
