It has a smell of I think cedar upon opening. You have to assemble it. It has a fair amount of storage and what we were looking for by the pool. I had one of these years ago we left at our old house and it works well for towels and chemical storage on the pool deck. The roof part is fairly good about being resistant to water but the rails around the roof part are just wood so it will eventually weather and rot unless you treat it. Also depending on the direction of rain sometimes the moisture can get inside from the slats. It is fairly sturdy but the lock does not line up right on this one (or our last one) so you have to make adjustments. The directions are also not 100% on locations of shelving bracing so I assume you can put it where you want. I guess it is a fair value for the money. I like the style but it does feel a little pricy since I have to assemble the whole thing. But it is a nice looking storage option with various uses

First off, It states 2people Assemble but I Was totally able to do it alone the instructions were pretty clear and easy, As a Girl this was a Pretty awesome moment lol… 2nd, it it’s actually pretty dam Sturdy the Pre Holes insured I couldn’t make Mistakes.. the final product looks great and Is A good Choice for small areas! 3rd, I find this to be eye catching and convenient. The Roof Is ugly though lol but it’s a roof.. the Storage capacity/ Room is as displayed but I kinda put them to my liking vs the pre existing holes. As for waterproof I wouldn’t worry about it to much it’s a beautiful piece so I don’t think I’ll leave it where it will be to wet..

Nice outdoor cabinet. The wood smells WONDERFUL. Door latch is not always easy to open and close. It comes with several shelves but I chose to not use them because I wanted to store broom, mop, cleaning tools and a tall step ladder. Light enough to move as needed. Happy with the purchase.

DONT BUY THIS!! No screw holes. Tried to put it together and the wood split!! The whole thing is janky and going in the TRASH!!

Looks great, not a breeze to put together. There are no written instructions and at least one image is backwards to how it should go. Also manual photos show the roof sloping back, while an Amazon photo depicts the roof sloping forward off the front. The manual also instructs to put screws through the asphalt shingle top to secure it but provide no silicone washers so it will only leak. A bit unstable and top heavy but seems secure with heavier items on the lower shelf
