I got this ahead of a family vacation to the beach. It was light and compact to it fit well in my luggage leaving plenty of room for my clothes. At the beach it does require some extra hands to set it up easily. I suspect a single person would struggle for a bit to get it up. But we were at the beach all day in the sun and it kept us nice and shaded and cool. I'm so glad we had it! Bonus it comes with a sturdy shovel the kids liked for making sand castles. Putting it away at the end of the day was fairly easy and it seemed to hold up against the wind fairly well when it got breezy. This will only work on a beach though. If your looking for shade on grass this will not work.

Ease of setup: Super fast to set up and take down! I’m chronically ill and this has been the easiest one we’ve tried! Why did you pick this product vs others?: The sand bag weights and the multiple ways to set up according to personal needs Wind resistance: The other pop up tents were blowing down the beach and ours was holding up perfectly under Florida winds. The sandbags and stakes make the world of difference compared to other tents! Sun protection: Great spf! I have lupus and was very protected under this!

I bought this majestic blue canopy for a dreamy Florida beach getaway with my fiancé. Spoiler alert: it ended up being more of a team-building exercise than a shade solution. Setup? Not too hateful. It was a bit like playing a game of beach Twister with elastic poles—get one corner tight, another one flops over like a sleepy flamingo. We were two sweaty amateurs pretending we knew what we were doing. What takes seasoned beach bums five minutes took us a full 15-minute cardio session and mild relationship counseling. Once it was up (cue celebratory high-five), we plopped down… only to realize we had expertly built a sun magnifier, not a shade canopy. Our butts were sizzling like beachside bacon, but we stayed committed to the tiny patch of shade like it was our life raft. Then came the real show. There we were, floating in the ocean, soaking in serenity and the scent of sunscreen, when I turned back to admire our setup—just in time to yell “Timber!” as our beautiful blue blob dramatically collapsed. It looked like a smurf parachute crash-landed onto our belongings. No people were harmed, only our pride. At that point, we just stayed in the water and let the tent nap. Honestly, I think it gave up on us before we gave up on it. Pros: Gorgeous color (very Instagrammable pre-collapse). Lightweight material that shakes off sand like a champ. Surprisingly roomy (when not impersonating a deflated bouncy house). Breaks down like a dream—easiest part of the whole adventure. Cons: Poles are flimsier than my willpower at a dessert table. Directions might as well be in ancient Sanskrit. Watch the Amazon video instead. No center pole = middle sags like a cheap hammock. Would I buy it again? Maybe… after watching that video, stretching first, and setting realistic shade expectations. Until then, I'll remember this tent fondly as the beautiful blue chaos that bonded us through sweat, sun, and surrender.

This beach tent is very user-friendly once you get the hang of it. At first, setup took a little trial and error, but after figuring it out, it became quick and simple. The tent is compact, lightweight, and surprisingly holds up well even in strong winds. Just make sure to fill the sandbags completely and stretch out the top properly for the best stability.

Set up is a snap, stays up all day, great shade! Sand doesn’t cling to it. Light weight - buzz right past those suckers with the beach wagon! I’ll never go to the beach without it. Large size is good for no more than 6 chairs.

Very easy set up! Works great! Good quality! Just wish the poles were a little taller to allow a 6' tall person to not have to bend over. Light to carry! Could use 2 shovels for quicker filling of bags. Love it!!

This tent is very nice however our bag for it ripped within the first use and second use the strap came off. We take care of all of our stuff religiously. The customer service by this brand is worthless. They will not send a new bag and want to give $20 to purchase a new on, compared to the $70 we paid for the product. Amazon stated to me the company would fill replace it and the company said they will not. Will not purchase anything from this company again.

Its very lightweight and pretty easy to set up. We set up with two people. However we used it at the beach and the breezy wind stretched the fabric and made it sag. The pole are on the cheese side but the biggest issue we had was the sagging canopy because the wind. We even stretched it again and it just kept doing it :(
