We really enjoyed this and it was such an easy set up everytime. The first time took just a little bit longer but we left the rubber bands and poles attached after the first time we took it down on and folded it back up that way. It made it faster to put it up the next day. It's great quality and it didn't blow over! I hope this lasts for years to come because it's also smaller and lighter than other beach tents people bring to the beach.

Ordered this right before a trip to the gulf coast. I watched a few umbrellas go flying under relatively strong winds for this coast. This sun shelter did not give me any problems. It does come with stakes if needed, but I didn’t need them.

We've been going to the beach for decades now - it is a short drive from our home. I've tried every sun solution known to man - tents, umbrellas, you name it. Umbrellas blow away. Tents are annoying. Those flying things make too much noise. I had never seen something like THIS until it was offered to me to try. Online it looks kind of weird. In person it looks kind of awesome! And it is SO easy to put up, even for mechanically challenged me. The whole kit is heavier than I expected, but most of the weight is from the poles. So I split those up between me and my partner to share the load to the beach. I love the way the fabric secures to the pole - so simple, and so genius. The sandbag things are odd but very effective - I personally prefer a metal shovel to fill them, vs. the plastic ones that came with the kit, but the plastic ones do the job just fine. I recommend bringing a brush with you so that when you're ready to pack up, you can turn the sandbags inside out and brush out all the leftover sand. I had lots of folks on the beach asking me about this. It would make a great host gift for someone if you're going to visit them at their beach or lake house.

A friend bought a product like this so I was dying to bring our own on a beach vacation. Everything comes in a medium-sized black bag that fit into my carry-on, a small rolling suitcase (it took up one half of it). At the beach, assembly was extremely easy with two people - it took maybe two minutes to set up the poles, and maybe seven or so to shovel sand into the pocket-legs. I love the bright color and how it lets air flow through. Even in fairly windy weather, this canopy didn’t budge. I also noticed that this style - having eight legs (two sand pockets on each corner) provides vastly superior stability compared to other products that only have just four legs. The only downsides are that I wish the poles stood a little taller - I’m 5’9 and I can’t stand up straight in it - and that it offered better sun coverage. Even though we got a good amount of shade, I could still feel the sun coming through and even got a bit tan from it (and this was on a hazy day). If you’re looking for a comfy, light-coverage canopy - this is a great bet. But if you’re in need of superior sun protection, I would maybe look for another 8-legged model with better coverage.

Very excited to get the Beach Tent Canopy. We took the canopy to the lake and setup on the beach. It was sandy enough to load the bags. Wow; what a setup. It was perfect for stay out of the shade and getting burnt from the sun. Very happy with the carrying bag to keep it all gear together. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves at the lake since we were able to stay out of the sun when we needed to. We would recommend the Gardentime Beach Tent; worked as designed.

Works great for getting some shade at the beach or working in the yard. The flexibility is good. You can have it down on one side, or all four posts up. Good for camping, beach, yard, anywhere you want some shade. The carry bag is nice, the weights work well, it's just an all around great product.

We used this at the beach recently and it was perfect to provide some sun protection and shade. It is easy to set up and tear down. The material has been durable even while stretching and placing the poles. I like that you can use all 4 poles for a shelter or just two and have one of the sides all the way down. Comes with a sturdy carrying bag to keep it all together and fits well. Must have for kids and families.

I really like the design of this. Works perfect in the sand, but my favorite part is how the weights are part of the tie line and not the poles. Works great, but also greatly reduced accidental tripping. Would recommend.
