Follow the instructions exactly and you will have a sun blocking window film that just disappears into the glass. Must make sure that no pet hair, nor dust is on 2 surfaces meeting. Use a lot of soapy water spray. Use care not to make wrinkles or creases in the film as it goes on. Small water pockets are OK. They disappear as the water evaporates. Just like prepasted wallpaper, only for windows. Be sure to follow the instructions and get the product and the window wet or it immediately starts adhering.

I liked that this film was clear as opposed to reflective, but it really didn’t help with my glass storm door. The heat gets trapped between the glass and my wooden door and makes the door handles extremely hot. This film just didn’t do the job. I went to remove it so I could replace it with a tinted film, but it was nearly impossible to remove. Other films I’ve used were cling films, but this was so stuck on, I had to cut it into strips and rip it off the door. When I was finished, there was adhesive stuck to the glass. I had to scrub it with mineral spirits and scrape it off with a glass scraper. This took me 2 hours. You can see some of the adhesive stuck to my door in the photo. After installed (about a week) you really can't tell the clear-not tinted film is on the window (without really studying the window) Take your time & make sure window is REALLY clean. Avoid installing film on hot sunny day if you can...water will evaporate faster which will make things more difficult than it has to be. Also, choose another day to put film on window if feeling tired or rushed. During the last 2 yrs I've used this and similar products on 18 windows. This is the best one. Last-not least: Customer service is wonderful-replaced w/o problem 1 role damaged by post office. ... show more

I'm usually good with my hands, and had all the right tools, but I still got bubbles. I don't know if there's a way to know whether it helps with UV or not.

Of course this was hard AF to install but I wanted to be able to watch the sunset and not heat the dang house up. Nope. 0 heat difference. Not actually sure what the point of this is... It's definitely clear and I can't tell I have it on my windows but.... The heat still radiates through the windows at the same viciousness as it did without this. We have the normal film (mirrored) on other places in the house and man does make a huge difference. Womp womp. ... show more
