  • Great quality film – effective and easy to apply
Size: 48in X 25ft
This BDF NA35 film was very easy to apply following the instructions – no bubbles, smooth finish, and it looks professional once installed. From the outside, you can still faintly see a person inside during the daytime, but it blocks the clear view we had before, which is exactly what we wanted for privacy. The film reflects more of the surrounding nature, giving the windows a nice mirrored effect. It definitely reduces heat inside, making the room cooler and more comfortable. This version (Natural Black 35 Medium) gives a moderate balance of privacy and light control. Next time I might choose a darker shade for even more privacy, but overall we are very happy with this project. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Would buy again
Size: 24in X 14ft
Installed the tint yesterday, solo, and no blinding sun rays this morning, but the light still comes in and I can see outside. The product came with a scraper and knife. Both worked well to complete the job. Easy to install, but have help if available. My window was 52x22. I accidentally cut the height too small and did not have an inch on both sides - it’s important. Make sure you have enough excess on all four sides. ... show more

  • Easy to apply, thermal difference is significant
Size: 48in X 12ft
This film really cut down the heat coming through the west facing windows. Application was straight forward and I didn’t use anything but the tools that came with it and resulted in a perfect application. You have to follow the directions. If you don’t clean the window first, try to apply it in direct sunlight or while the window is hot, don’t use soapy water spray to window, back of film, and on top of film while you squeegee, you messed up. It is really that easy to apply. This is how I did it. To cut the piece to the window size I took the cut end of the film as it arrived rolled, and lifted straight out of the box to top of window and taped it. I cut from the roll and set the roll aside still in the box. Lift film up and spray soap solution all over the window (you should have a towel placed in sill or on floor to mop excess soap solution). Then separate the clear backing using the two pieces of tape method to pull them apart (GENTLY AND SLOWLY), peeling from one upper corner across the sheet of film until both top corners are separated from the protective film then pull down, slow!! Spray the sticky side exposed back of the film as you go and keep the window wet too. When the protective layer is off, spray the window and film and then press it against window. Spray the outside of the film with solution so your squeegee slides easy and doesn’t scratch the film. Work all the bubbles out to the edges. Use the little exacto knife they gave you and cut excess film slowly. Keep working out the bubbles from middle to left, middle to top, middle to right, middle to down. Done. Pictures show the middle window with film applied, L/R have no film yet. ... show more

  • Great quality and tools supplied
Size: 24in X 14ft
For a window film that’s not actual tint, this product is legit! Easy application with all the supplies provided. HEAT REDUCTION and PRIVACY are key elements and this product fulfills them both. Moderate level difficulty for professional results. If this is your first time, cut out a couple feet and try it out. Remember, soapy water is your friend, saturate your film until your positioning is locked in. Then start squeeging inwards to outwards little by little. Slowly peel away the secondary film as you go. ... show more

  • Little difference
Size: 24in X 24ft
My primary reason for buying this film was to block some of the heat from my east-facing windows while still being able to see out. In terms of visibility, the film does allow a clear outward view, but the film I received has a tinting more comparable to NA50 than NA35 (according to the chart on the product page). I installed film on one window the day it arrived and noted very little difference in heat transmittance this morning. The film was fairly easy to cut and apply, but getting all of the little water bubbles out was impossible, even with drowning the glass and film--possibly due to the included squeegee. Adhesion was excellent, even though I ended up peeling it back off so that I can try a different film. The view from outside in added a little privacy. ... show more

  • Easy even for a novice installer
Size: 36in X 50ft
I was attempting to reduce heat in a sunroom and had to apply film to 8 storm windows (at 2 panes per window). I was worried about the quality of the install because I had never installed window film on a relatively large area (my windows were approximately 25" square each pane). I followed the instructions, and was very generous with the soapy water and while I was initially disappointed with my application on the first window (a handful of teeny tiny bubbles), I had found a groove and technique that worked for me and I was able to do better through the rest of the windows taking approximately 8-12 minutes per window. I intended to go back and redo the first window after feeling like I had mastered the install, but after a few warm, sunny days, the bubbles seemed to work themselves out somehow and you cannot even tell the windows have film on them. I like that it adds a slight tint that is not super apparent from the inside, and a slight mirrored look from the outside that adds a small amount of privacy. It is hard to say if it made a significant amount of difference in terms of temperature impact because I coupled this improvement with a roof vent at the same time. Would recommend the product given the price, quality, and my experience! ... show more

  • Only use if you want your room hotter
Size: 36in X 12ft
Find to install, filters light, but doesn't stop heat at all. Normally, in the morning, my room is 80°F. The day after installing it was 84°F. If I could get a refund, I would

  • Great Product
Size: 36in X 12ft
I purchased this window tint film to eliminate the reflection onto my television from my wall of window shades during the daytime when I want to watch TV. The kit has a great razor; all you'll need is a $1 spray bottle, Dawn dishwashing liquid, tape measure, possibly a right angle, & a little painter's tape. Just follow the directions on the box, and you'll do fine. Unfortunately, the tint I ordered isn't dark enough, and I'm unsure if I want to completely black out my windows. ... show more
