I live in a city high-rise with unobstructed afternoon sun, before installing this I literally would be walking around my apartment wearing sunglasses indoors. Now this isn't so dark you cannot see out of it, but it dramatically lowers the glare and heat from the afternoon sun. This film was better than I could have imagined. You can instantly feel the difference in temperature in the room and we are really enjoying the privacy it provides. I wish a larger applicator was included for larger sliding glass windows. It was sa great buy. Instant privacy and even late in the evening you can barely see inside. Perfect tiny, did the job and it is high quality. The tiny came with a box knife, felt covered squeegee and instructions. I used baby soap and water in a spray bottle to use to apply the tint. It has dramatically decreased my electric bill. I live in an older trailer house and it was getting to 80-85 degrees in my house during the 100° (110° heat index) summer. I couldn't do it a anymore. It has dropped indoor temperatures by easily 10°! Took me about 3 hrs to do my whole house by myself. Would have went quicker with help (definitly recommend) ... show more

I am so happy I bought this. We have a sunroom with sky windows that let in so much heat the room get over 100 deg in the summer. We put these on the windows and now there is no heat coming through the window. They were easy to install and my husband went around the house and started putting them up on all the windows. Per what others have said though, during the night you cannot see our but everyone can see in if the lights are on. So if you are using them for privacy shade then keep that in mind. ... show more
