I've been exercising daily to retain joint mobility and increase strength and when I saw this exercise bar kit with resistance bands, it looked like a good choice for someone who doesn't have a lot of space for exercise equipment. I'm really pleased with it. It's easy to assemble and comes with a chart of exercises you can do with the bar and bands. It's very compact and fits in a small storage bag when not in use. Though the exercise chart is great, there's more info on the listing that isn't covered in the chart, such as use of the ankle bands. The resistance bands are supposed to be 20, 30 and 50 pounds but they seem to be about half that for each band. If you need more resistance you can "stack" the bands. I liked this so much that I bought one to send to a friend for her birthday and she just loves it so I would say this makes a great gift. ... show more

I really hesitated to buy this only because I have this irrational fear that the bands will snap while I use it hahaha. But my hate for going to the gym really forced me to buy it finally! I’m glad I did and wish I did sooner!! They add a great amount of resistance. Worth the money for sure!

Each set of bands have good/descent resistance, I hooked them all on and it was great just what I needed, you can adjust the side bar straps for added resistance. Perfect length for my height, I'm 5'2, around 185/190 lbs for added reference. I don't mind using all the bands if it feels good & gets the job done. I'm hoping it lasts a good while due to the connective hooks on the bar, I kind of wish I went with a screw-on bar instead but overall great purchase.
