I'll admit: the number one reason I chose this particular peacoat for my son was the price. It looked like a really stylish coat for the price! After getting it , I'm assuming they used a photo from a different brand, because the actual coat does not look "tailored" like the photo. In fact, it's quite boxy. That said, the material is very soft, delightful to the touch-- and the inner lining is very nice, too. The jacket will be quite warm, good for fall and all but the coldest days of winter here in Texas, I think. It can definitely be dressed up or down, and is a great outer layering piece. I'm glad that I read other reviews before buying, because I sized down from what I'd normally buy for my son. He's 5'11", medium build (about 165 pounds), and usually wears a Men's Large in t-shirts, polos, and sweatshirts-- but I ordered him a size Medium, and I'm glad I did, as the coat has a much roomier cut than pictured. I'm attaching some pictures so you can see a size Medium on a 5'11" teen, both buttoned and unbuttoned. (And, by the way, he LOVES the coat!) ... show more
