I am blown away by the quality and ease of set up of this tent! I have not seen another tent that can be set up or packed away as easily as this one. The first time opening it took me 38 seconds, and the first time closing it took me 2 minutes and 44 seconds. I love the mattress, which is on the more firm side, but that is exactly what I like! It has plenty of interior space and headroom and the led lights work like a charm. This also comes in a practically indestructible wooden box. I was extremely impressed with how much effort they put into the shipping container to ensure the tent makes it to your home issue free. It does take a little bit the open up the box though, but I would rather this than a busted up tent! Overall I give this tent a 10/10 Im impressed with the quality, comfort, spaciousness, unbelievably easy set up and pack up, and everything about it! ... show more

I was very skeptical about this purchase because of the very few reviews. But let me tell you this is one of the best purchases that our family has ever made. We took a trip out to the mountains and this tent met all of our expectations. It's incredibly easy to set up. It's very spacious we have a family of five two adults three children under the age of 9 and we all fit very comfortably. The mattress that it comes with is very comfortable and caused no problems with our backs. The one thing that I do need to add is just like any other tent when you wake up in the morning there is due on the ceiling in the sides of the tent. But if you are going to make any kind of tent purchase this is to be expected. Overall we are incredibly happy with our purchase and if we needed to in the future we would definitely purchase again! ... show more

    • Great Tent, with a few items needing improving...

First off, great tent. Very well made, material is high grade and the zippers work well and everyone has a pull strap on the end. The mattress is thick, but it is very stiff. If you are a side sleeper, like me, you will need a pad. Very easy to set up and take down... 2 minutes... TOPS!!! Now for the parts that need improving, and for the cost, are somewhat not acceptable. 1. There are no openings at the top corners of the tent. Not sure how the venting is going to work on this if you are in a heavy foggy area, or lots of rain. 2. There is a sky light and it is awesome... however... under the sky light, which is in the rain fly, there is a screen and a cover, accessible from the inside. The problem... if you open the cover and have the screen in place, the sky light lays down on the screen and there is ZERO air flow going through it. It is a big lost opportunity for some fresh air. I have two pieces of foam wedged in place that lift the sky light up and now there is air flowing. Not the best setup. 3. The hook and loop that fastens the rain fly to the main body of the tent is poor quality. It still leaves a bit of material loose, and I could see that it might flap in a strong wind. Trying to figure out how to make it tighter, but not sure if there is a solution. 4. The side rain fly is poorly designed. One pole slips through a hole in the braces, works great, but the second one fits into two plastic pieces. One of those rests up against the material of the tent and I could see this being a problem over a long period of time. It is just too tight and puts a lot of pressure on the material. And Finally... #5... there are 2 side pockets at the back of the tent and that is it for storage. There are no nets across the top, another lost opportunity. Not being harsh on the tent, I like it a lot... but for $2000 there are some key items that need improving. Last thing... there is an A/C-Heater vent installed!!! 3" hole.... ... show more

Don’t overpay on those other big brands! Naturnest is by far the best brand you can get for affordable rooftop tent with the accessories you can’t get from the big guys without spending extra money. This is my 2nd tent from them with my previous one was the Polaris and the only reason I got rid of it was to get more space for my 2 kids and myself. Quality is as good or even better and iKampe, FSR and other big guys. So don’t be scared on that end. Seams, clasp, material are of great quality. Sirius 2 is also well ventilated from the two doors screen and the end where your head is has an opening to ventilate air. The mattress is comfy enough but if you want a pillowy sleep I’d get air mattress to it. If you are in the air in finding quality, comfortable sleep, and space with a RTT, please save your time and money and grab this tent. You won’t be disappointed! ... show more

Ordered 2 items for a family camping trip. Only received one and got the other one cancelled for no reason many weeks later. I orders with time in advance. The one I did receive has a broken rod on the left side. Its the things that keeps the overhang straight. Now rattles like crazy in light wind. Also, had the wrong screws.
