  • Amazing value, great quality!
This is a beautiful platform bed frame in a perfect walnut color. Assembly was easy, I added some extra screws to strengthen it a bit. I also stained the middle support legs a walnut color to better blend in, they’re unfinished pine when it arrives. I could find no manufactured wood anywhere on this bed. It seems to all be solid wood. It’s a cheaper wood but it’s real. This bed looks way more expensive than it is. It’s perfectly quiet, no creaks or other noises. ... show more

  • Disappointed.
This bed had good reviews so I was looking forward to the purchase. For one person It is fairly easy to put together it would be a breeze with two people. I like the color, but that's about it. The inside of the queen frame is larger than my queen mattress, this same mattress fits perfectly in my other queen size frame. You can see the inside corners of the bed frame and the slats on every side of the bed. Totally ruins this bed for me, I do not want to be looking at raw, unattractive wood slats at the edges of the mattress. I either have to cover up the bed frame with a comforter/duvet to hide the slats, or I have to tuck in the comforter/duvet and fluff it out to make sure the slats are covered. There is a large amount of space at the head and the foot of the bed, I had to stuff pillows between the wall and the open space at the head of the bed in order to keep my sleeping pillows from falling into the open space. It is also painful on the legs when walking up to it, the frame hits right on the shin. Of course the bed is now put together, I am not going to take it apart and return the heavy box. I'm stuck with the purchase which is extremely disappointing. I would definitely not recommend this bed. ... show more

  • Honestly, not worth it
Wow okay... I thought this would be similar to the zinus bed frames which are super easy to put together like 30 min and your bed is done. BOY was I wrong. the instructions are incredibly piss poor and the screws aren’t separated out so you have to do all that yourself and still play a bit of a guessing game. Also my instructions included washers which... funny enough.. not in the bag?? It worked without them but I’m not sure if that was just missed or the instructions weren’t updated. There are 100 million screws to this bed. I’m seriously not exaggerating. I installed it by myself and it took about three hours. I gave up on all the screws for the slats too. Also, the middle support beam is just unfinished wood??? So you see a hideous raw wood piece from under the bed that looks like I propped up a cutting from the Home Depot floor under my bed. I’m hoping a big duvet cover will hide it. The frame itself is bigger than a queen so you see into the frame from the sides. This isn’t that awful but I just don’t understand why they wouldn’t size it to fit a Queen. For the price, it’s a modern looking bed. Just beware it comes at a cost of your back and fingers... possibly sanity... to put together. Just buy a zinus for a hundred bucks more and don’t make the mistake I did ... show more

  • NOT WORTH IT!!!!!
NOT WORTH IT! I bought this bed 12/31. First the box was opened when it got here. Then I pulled out 1 piece of the bed and it was broken. I pulled another piece out and it was broken. I email the company and request for a refund the day I got the bed. This bed frame is 80lbs and they wanted me to take the frame to UPS myself. I told them that I wasn’t able to do that by myself (it won’t fit in my car and I’m a 24 year old female). They told me to schedule my own pickup and UPS wanted to charge me $11. So I emailed them again and they told me to take it to UPS myself AGAIN. It took them almost 2 weeks to schedule a simple pickup with UPS and the frame was finally pickup 2/3. ... show more

  • Sturdy/tedious assembly
The shipping on this item was much faster than anticipated. The quality of the wood is excellent and sturdy and the finish is a perfect ashy walnut. The only had a few issues with this product. Part of the wood on the headboard frame was split which can be seen in one of the photos. However, it wasn’t so bad so I patched it up with some wood glue. The instructions were easy to follow and all you need to assemble the frame is an Allen key. You will need an electric drill once you get to the point of assembling the wood slats with the wood screws. Unfortunately none of the parts came labeled as they were in the instructions including the screws that were in one large bag altogether. Still, each screw appeared distinct enough to be able to separate. Overall, this frame is sturdy and incredibly cute. ... show more

  • Solid wood frame
Just got this frame because I like the ledge and wanted the mid century look. I assembled the frame and took an hour. It’s best to separate all the bolts to make it easier. Here are things that I did not like. The middle part of the frame isn’t great. You’ll find the bolt that connects the middle part and the bracket doesn’t fit securely enough. The 3 wood stakes aren’t long enough. I had to add something underneath each one to make it fit and not make any noise. I recommend you put either a rug or I used soft furniture movers on each leg. The wood to wood thing will make noise. I will write a future review and see how it holds up. ... show more

  • Easy to put together
The box came ripped with washers falling out of it. Thankfully I still had enough for everything. It was pretty easy to put together although it felt like it took me forever. I put it together by myself with the tool provided in the box EXCEPT for the screws to hold down the slates. You will need a screwdriver for that. Some of the corners don’t match up perfectly, but that honestly could be because of something I did. Seems sturdy enough I’ve slept on it for multiple nights with no issues. Looks like the photos except for the piece/legs that run down the center to keep it sturdy. Those are the color of the slates and not the rest of the bed which was slightly disappointing. ... show more

  • Pretty, but shaky
This is a visually appealing minimalist bed frame. However, proper assembly is a nightmare and the bed frame would be shaky even if we weren't missing a few bolts. The middle support legs will strip and wander from their vertical positions quickly. I certainly don't anticipate it lasting through the decade. You get what you pay for! ... show more
