I researched for weeks before I bought this bed and I'm so glad I decided on this one! It was super easy to put together and it is sturdy. The soft feel of the material seems like a steal for the price. I put this is my playroom in the basement, which will double as a guest room when needed. The daybed has a gorgeous modern look that doesn't overwhelm a smaller space. This is literally a 2-in-1 because it looks like a nice sofa for lounging when not being used for sleeping and the trundle is a plus. I paired this daybed with a small side table, mirror, and artwork to round out the space and it looks amazing altogether. If you get this bed, be sure to replace the screws holding the support bars for the slats in place. The screws used to put them on before it comes to you are not long enough. This bed fell apart twice right after I put it together (because of hardware that was ALREADY ASSEMBLED when it got to me) until I replaced the screws with ones that are actually long enough to get into the bed frame. I contacted the manufacturer support and never heard back. I could've been seriously injured. Unfortunately, two months later, the other side broke in the exact same way. So now I have to disassemble this bed for a THIRD TIME to fix the manufacturer cutting costs and using screws that don't actually hold the bed up. It's a gorgeous bed, but beware- if you don't fix their mistakes before assembling, it will fall apart while you're using it. Guaranteed. This was a waste of $500. ... show more

Love the look. Easy to assemble BUT IT NEEDS MORE CENTER SUPPORT! the only CENTER support is offset towards the very back. Those supports fold back and forth while you sleep and toss and turn. You wake up with a huge dip in your mattress and in PAIN! I'm sitting here torn between begging to return it without having to pay to ship back ( while dreading dismantle), and buying lumber and brackets to try to stabilize this. I had a cheap metal frame platform bed before which I sold a week ago when I put this together. I wish I hadn't sold it now. Very frustrating situation so be prepared for this. Otherwise it's very pretty and sturdy. It's just the lack of CENTER support for this Queen sized bed. Poor design for sure. ... show more

Overall, unit is nicely designed and comfortable. Took about 1 hour to build for 1 person and added a extra screws and additional support lumber. If you're looking for just to use on occasional rest and for guest daybed, this is the one for you but I don't think every nigh for deep sleep use.

Bought this bed with the hopes it would be large enough for a twin xl mattress. It is a tight fit but it does work and looks great. It is the style of bed my daughter has been wanting and we couldn’t find one large enough. We put extra plywood down in trundle to use as a drawer for storage. Very well made and super comfortable. Only complaint is package came in sipped and several of the pieces had scratches in fabric. Tying to rerun but box so big it’s impossible. Once we took it out the box and unboxed it you can’t return it. I just wish they could send a few of the pieces that were scratched up. ... show more
