Bought this so the kids could “practice golf,” which of course turned into a full-blown competition within about five minutes. Setup was easy enough that I didn’t need to read instructions twice, so that’s a plus. The soft balls are great because nothing has been broken yet, which already puts this ahead of most toys. The kids stayed entertained way longer than I expected, and I may or may not have taken a few turns myself. Only minor gripe is the hitting mat could be a little bigger, especially when the kids are swinging like they’re on the PGA Tour. Not a big deal, just something I noticed. The company needs to add extra Velcro strips for each ball because after playing the game for a while the grass gets into the Velcro and it makes the ball harder to hold onto the target. Otherwise the game is really fun.

nice concept and was fun to play the unit uses 1/2 inch PVC pipes to hold up netting this was christmas present for 10 year old and after about 2 days of intermittent use the PVC pipe broke wound up going to big box store and purchasing 1/2 PVC pipe to replace the thin walled pipe shipped with the unit the concept is great just needs stronger pvc pipes ... show more

We got this new version after having the original version. The new version now makes it even better with having the self standing ability as well as being larger in size. It is simple to put together and they use quality materials. It has been awesome to keep our junior golf boys interested in practicing during the cold months here as you can easily now practice inside. The golf balls included that are designed to stick fly very similar to a real golf ball so it absolutely feels realistic to hitting a golf shot at the course. This can absolutely be used for anyone interested in golf whether to just have fun or to actually practice your short game seriously. It's great for social gatherings or keeping kids entertained for long periods of time but also for anyone who plays the game of golf competitively would find this to be beneficial for practice. ... show more
