This throw is gorgeous! The photo does not do it justice. It’s thick, extremely soft on the fur and underside and warm. I researched the washing instructions and it’s not complicated, I can update the review once I wash it. This was another great find from prime day. I should have checked the size, while it is gorgeous on my sofa I wanted it to cover more, so now I get to order another one!

Looks like real fur and is a beautiful rich dark brown color . It is thick with faux fur that appears well produced and stitched together. Soft inner lining . Sized generally. I believe this will be a very warm throw .

Its thick and has some weight to it which is lovely. I have it on my recliner and it does slip around because the not-furry side is a bit slippery, nice short fuzzy side (also rich brown and o so nice). So, I am happy with this surprisingly luxurious throw blanket.

I have purchased several fake fur throws and rugs over the years, most of them are the same material, they all start out super soft. This blanket feels great out of the bag, however, first thing I noticed is the backing is only attached to the blanket along the edges. That means the blanket keeps turning in on itself, being slippery and not staying in place. From past experience, I know repeated washing will start to tear up that unsecured backing. This is no better quality than throws at half the cost. Update: It's been a year or so. I have washed this maybe 10 times. It has held up and still comes out of the wash like new. I only use it a few months of the year, when it's cold enough, but I have 2 dogs using it with me for those months. Compared to other wanna be faux fur blankets, this one stands out. (And it is my one dog's absolute life time favorite blanket!)
