The media could not be loaded. If you’re like me, you want to stay in one brand’s battery architecture. It drives me crazy having a different style battery and charger for every power tool. That’s what drew me to this sprayer. It’s made to be compatible with a Dewalt battery. No battery is included here, which is fine by me. I have Dewalt tools and several batteries. It’s nice to be able to use what I have. I got this because I was in a pinch. I have arborvitaes in my yard that have been left alone by deer since I planted them five years ago. It’s been frigid cold here in Michigan, and I noticed my arborvitaes looked odd. Upon inspection, deer have started eating them. It’s too cold out to wrap them, so I got some spray that’s supposed to stop deer from eating them. The jug’s hand sprayer was terrible. Enter this power sprayer. Setup didn’t take long at all. But the instruction booklet leaves much to be desired. The tank itself is sturdy and the controls are nice and feel like they’re high quality. The spray wand and nozzles are less impressive, but they do work nicely. Be sure to use the included washers when connecting or you’ll get dripping from your connections. One thing I had difficulty with was controlling the output. At first I felt that I had a defective unit. The flow control did nothing. Powered on, the unit pushed out solution full blast. At that rate, I’d go through a gallon in short order. The manual was no help at all. I found that I had to keep the power switch off, and use the control knob only (see my video). This allowed me to control output. On minimum, it still flows quicker than a traditional, manual sprayer, but it’s far more controllable than on full blast. I’m going to use this sprayer for many things from spraying detergent on my house’s siding, to weed control, and even deer deterrent. I think it’s a good product for a home user already in the Dewalt universe. If you don’t have Dewalt 20v batteries, then you may want to think twice. The branded batteries and chargers are expensive. A knock-off may suit, but even then you’re adding to the cost of the sprayer.

I use this battery powered backpack sprayer mainly for weed control and general yard maintenance, and it has significantly reduced the physical effort compared to manual pump sprayers. The 5-gallon (20L) tank is a good size for larger areas without constant refilling. Once it’s on your back, the weight is well distributed, and the straps are comfortable enough for longer sessions. The electric pump is the real advantage here, consistent pressure without stopping to pump makes a noticeable difference. The adjustable pressure control works very well. I can switch from a fine mist for garden beds to a stronger jet for weeds along fences and edges. The pressure feels stable and predictable, even when spraying continuously. Reaching up to 90 PSI gives it enough power for tougher jobs. I also appreciate the variety of nozzles included. They’re easy to swap, and each one actually serves a purpose rather than being redundant. The telescoping wand is solid and makes it easier to reach awkward spots without bending or overextending. Overall, this sprayer feels built for real yard work, not just light-duty use. If you’re managing weeds or maintaining a larger property and want to save time and energy, this backpack sprayer is a strong option.

I spend a lot of time maintaining my yard, so switching to a battery powered backpack sprayer has made a noticeable difference. Not having to manually pump while I am walking and spraying saves both time and energy. The adjustable pressure is one of my favorite features because I can dial it down for delicate plants or turn it up when I need more power for weeds along the driveway and fence line. The digital voltage display is also helpful so I am not guessing how much battery life I have left. The tank holds plenty for my medium sized yard, and once it is on my back the padded straps and waist support distribute the weight well. This a 20 gallon backpack sprayer compatible with DeWalt 20v batteries. The batteries mount inside the lower pallet part of the tank; there is a compartment there with the pump. That effectively keeps your batteries from getting wet. This has a strainer that is removable at the full port. The fill port is generously wide and it screws on. The second smaller screw top on the top is a very convenient compartment to store tips, accessories. This comes with everything pictured, but no battery. The plastic is a tad thin, so be careful not to drop this while full. The straps are comfortable, wide. Along the back of a plastic 'saddle' of sorts to make this more comfortable. This has great pressure, and it is nice not to have to pump the entire time. Overall this seems like a decent value.
