Purchased this battery backpack sprayer in March 2024. I have been impressed with the batteries longevity lasting 6 hours or more on a charge. Using the correct nozzle I can easily spray nearly 20 feet up into the trees for insect control. With a full tank of 4 gallons the capacity is sufficient and is well balanced on the shoulders making it easy to use. It was an excellent value and I would not hesitate to purchase one again. This year (2026) the battery would not charge so I contacted Petra Customer Service and spoke to Christina. She didn't hesitate to take care of my problem. I am totally impressed with their service and attention to the needs of their customer. Not to mention the fact that an actual person answers the phone. Thanks Christina for your excellent service!

Well what I can say is companies with good true customer service are where it’s at! Sprayers that just work and don’t leak and don’t spill down your back and again just work are great. Petra tools is by far the best sprayer over used and I’ve used tons growing up on a farm in PA and owning my own working farm now this sprayer has saved me beyond hours of annoyance that other sprayers would cause. Going on our second season now with it, we run many many tanks full through this from 2-4d to fertilizers for the lawn from Petra and other ag mixes as well as other sprays. It doesn’t hurt your back or leak down your back like nearly all other sprayers I’ve used do. That’s really the key if the comfort to the sprayer and quality. We did have a slight hairline crack in the wand not sure how it happened but again we use this on our farm so it may have dropped or got hit at some point but we contacted Petra warranty and they didn’t hardly ask any questions I showed a picture to Anne and she helped me get a replacement shipped out! Their warranty claims was the other reason I chose to buy their products. We have their 1 gallon sprayer as well and it’s great! This was not a paid review or a reimbursed review this is just me being thankful that there’s still business out there making quality products and stand behind them! Love supporting fellow PA business.

I have had this sprayer since August of 2024. My lot is 1.5 acres, too big for a hand pump sprayer and not big enough for a tractor sprayer. I love it. I spray herbicide, insecticide and pre-emergent. There are a number of different spray heads. I can efficiently spray large patches of gravel, or get up high in the fruit trees. I pulled it out to get ready for spring this last Saturday. I had left it on over the winter, so the battery was dead. I plugged in the charger and the light on the charger wasn't lighting up. I tried it on several outlets, to no avail. I called Petra Tools and spoke to a lovely person named Anne. She had me try a couple of things and then sent me a text asking for my order number, I got on to Amazon, looked up my order history and sent her a screen shot. She immediately replied and said that she has put put a new charger in the mail and I should have it in the next couple of days. I love outstanding service. The sprayer is great and so is the customer service.

Heres an update on my initial review below. Im changing my review to 5 stars because you can’t put a price on customer service. I got a callback today from customer service and they help me solve my problem with the drip they have been very helpful and very approachable. I think with that said this product is worthy of five stars I have used several loads through the sprayer and it has worked great. Save yourself a few bucks and give them a chance it’s a good power sprayer! Initial review I’m giving this three stars for now until I get things figured out. When I received this item it was easy to put together it wasn’t quite as sturdy as I had hoped and I realized after putting water in it to test it but it only sprayed a very strong stream it was hard to dial the pressure back to the spot spraying around other plants without the fear of heavy mist overspray. I’m not using mine for commercial work I’m using it for residential I have to maintain about 4 acres of land and I needed to get away from the hand pump type backpack sprayer.
