  • Surprisingly Solid Backpack Sprayer with some flaws
This backpack sprayer actually impressed me with its performance and build quality though it does have one big weak spot. It comes with a 2Ah battery, charger, and a variety of spray tips for different applications. There’s a dial on the side to adjust the max pressure, and once it reaches that setting, the pump shuts off automatically. Unfortunately, the strap attachments are its Achilles’ heel. The straps connect to the sprayer with thin plastic clips that simply aren’t strong enough. The very first time I picked it up with only three gallons of weed killer, one clip snapped instantly. I rigged it with a zip tie, only for the other side to break moments later so both straps are now zip-tied in place. This is definitely something the manufacturer needs to redesign. Once on your back, the padded support makes it comfortable to wear. The pump activates as soon as you squeeze the handle and maintains a steady, even spray with no lag. Toward the end of the tank (around half a gallon left), you may notice the pump struggling when liquid sloshes away from the intake pretty common with sprayers, but here it means the pump keeps running continuously, which could shorten its life. Best to shut it off when this happens. Build quality is otherwise good. Even the battery compartment has a gasket to keep moisture out. I’ve gone through about 12 gallons of weed killer over three uses on a single charge, and the battery is still going strong—though there’s no charge indicator, so I just top it off after each session. The battery itself looks like a standard drill battery but charges via a 3.5mm bullet plug, so no special charger is required. Overall, aside from the flimsy strap clips, this is a well-performing and efficient sprayer that’s made weed control much easier. I’d still recommend it just be ready to reinforce those straps. ... show more

  • Super Sprayer! A giant step up in technology (for me, at least).
I've owned and used a backpack sprayer for the past 10 years, or more, and I will tell you that I love it. However, using this sprayer is nothing less than... luxury! This tool is fantastic, and helps me get through my spraying chores quickly, and without one sore shoulder & arm. It does this by being battery power, not "Pancho-Powered". And it that, it does an excellent job. This is a large capacity sprayer, as you can see. It will hold 4.2 gallons, more than enough to spray the outside of my home, and then some. It's got a fantastic strap system that not only is kind to your shoulders & back, but is deeply padded, with ventilated material where it meets your body. This helps with those sweat lines. The rear of the tank where it contacts your back is heavily padded. Beautiful! The top is easy fill, but it's also got an easy drain at the base. So, when I'm done I just run water through the tank, and it drains straight through to the bottom, and out. Very efficient, and saves water & time. Then you have the spray nozzle, which is far better than my old one. It's larger, so I can actually close my whole hand to actuate it, rather than using my fingers to spray, very tiring, and contributes to carpal tunnel syndrome. Comes with a single internal battery, which is removable to charge, along with the charger. There is also a selection of spray tips, a speed control on the side, and a pilot lamp adjustment (not sure what that is). There is a locking comparment where the battery goes that also accommodates the nozzle. The carry handle is large, and comfortable. Lastly, there is a clip to secure the sprayer wand to the sprayer when not in use. This is an absolutely awesome sprayer. If you are tired of pumping all day to get the job done, you're going to love this. I will also point out that this is a super value, costing as much as several manual/pump type sprayers I have seen. Highly recommended. I am in love with this sprayer! ... show more

  • Rate a 1. Good product, poor quality
The media could not be loaded. I just received this product today. In the middle of me treating my yard, the straps break causing me to pull the sprayer around in a wagon to complet6my yard

  • Loose battery
My husband used this to spray our camp ground. He says that it’s about 40 pounds when full. The strap broke as soon as he put it on his back and he said the battery wouldn’t stay connected. It kept coming loose. He said when it was on its side it stayed connected but this is a back pack sprayer so that defects the purpose. so he’s going to have to fix the strap and see what he can do to get the battery to stay tight. He said when it actually stayed tight and he was able to spray with it. It sprayed really well. ... show more

  • Great for yard work
This backpack sprayer is great! I am able to get my yard sprayed with bug spray and it makes my life so much easier versus trying to pump a bottle by hand. Doing it that way makes my hands cramp up. This backpack lets me not have to worry about that! I really appreciate the different sprayer head attachments that come with it. I can get more wider coverages or more precise sprays. The stream comes out nice and strong and stays going as long as you hold down the trigger. You can hear the backpack turn off and on and I am assuming that’s it building pressure and stopping. My biggest concern with the sprayer is the straps. When the sprayer is completely full, it’s actually pretty heavy and the straps are not made of a very sturdy material. It feels like it’s just a matter of time before they break. That will be a terrible event because like I mentioned before, the backpack is heavy when full so it will either hit the ground and potentially break or put too much weight on one shoulder and possibly hurt me. Although the backpack gets heavy, it’s still actually comfortable to wear. The battery last a while, which is great! I run out of fluid in the backpack before I run out of battery. ... show more
